During the period of WanLi of the Ming Dynasty, the Kunqu Opera had boomed in Suzhou, and had been the country-wide opera. It had not only been popular in the civilian class, but also been advocated by the government and the cultivated men. And it had been one of the most influential cultural categories during the period of the late Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty. The stage fine arts of Kunqu Opera are attracted to the Kunqu Opera. The peculiar performance way of Kunqu Opera leads to the special looks of its stage fine arts, that is, to value the modeling and to weaken the stage settings.Kunqu Opera had been in the relationship with the former opera. The relationship lies on the stage fine Arts of Kunqu Opera, especially on the makeup. With the flourish of Kunqu opera, the performance clothing of it was developed with the financial support of the officials and the merchants. Limited by the laws of the Ming dynasty and the Qing Dynasty, the clothing of Kunqu opera was prototyped by the common clothing of the Ming dynasty roughly. And the rule of dressing up was affected by the hierarchy of the clothing of the Ming dynasty. For example, the common man and woman clothing of the Ming dynasty were used on the stage as well as the clothing of the deity sculpture in the temple. And the color and the pattern of the clothing of Kunqu opera were the reflection of the traditional concept. Besides, the outstanding and costly embroidery craft of "GuXiu" and "SuXiu", which were taken into circulation more and more, were used in the clothing of Kunqu opera. The craft was adapted to the stage performance by the craftsman. And stimulated by the blooming craft and merchandising, the process of the opera clothing was turned into an independent line in Suzhou. Furthermore, since the late Ming Dynasty, the economy and crafts was developed rapidly and people preferred to luxury.
