This dissertation, focusing on the literary history from 1937 to 1945, explores great changes of fictional texts by describing the historical process and interrelations of society, times and literature. Through foregrounding the most important aspects of literature, stylistics, it tries to depict the literary history and literary phenomenon thoroughly and deeply.It searches for the origin of the Worker-Peasant-Soldiers'Writing and explores the linguistic characteristics, the narrative methods and figurative traits. Moreover, it explores the passive changes of Left-Wing writers'narration after they reached Yan'an. Compared with the fictions of the 1930s, the dissertation tries to define the position of Left-Wing Revolutionary literature in literary history.Starting from the background of Yan'an Literature and Art Symposium, the second chapter explores the direct interference of the regional politics on literature. It describes and exhibits the tough transformation of Left-Wing writers in life, thoughts and writing after Yan'an Literature and Art Symposium. Then it exhibits the mould of the regional politics for the new writing groups.The third chapter, focusing on the fictional writing from 1942 to 1945, describes the most outstanding narrative modes of the Worker-Peasant- Soldiers'literature: the narrative mode focusing on listening-reading mode, which exploits the spreading function of literature and expresses the ideology of Chinese Communist Party. Furthermore, the chapter exposes a few Worker-Peasant- Soldiers'writing in this period who succeeded the narrative style of the May-Fourth Literature.In conclusion, the dissertation, from the literary history, the activities of writers during certain historical period, fictional writing, comments on the historical position of Worker-Peasant- Soldiers'literature in modern Chinese literary history and makes clear the feasibility of the Worker-Peasant- Soldiers'literature from the aesthetic perspective.
