The Research On The Front Issues In The Cultural Philosophy Of Science

A significant trend and popular domain in the development of modern philosophy is philosophy of culture. As the philosophy of science changing its direction to culture, it sets a completely new subject for us - the research on the cultural philosophy of science, which has conducted a systematic examination on the front issues in the cultural philosophy of science. The latest achievements on philosophy of culture and philosophy of science plus the results of those already studies as well as the author's underlie this research. In order to exam and arrange the fruit of philosophy of science, sociology of science (scientific knowledge), history of science and so on, I analyzing four-dimension of cultural philosophy of science which lies in history of science, sociology of scientific knowledge (SSK), cultural studies of science as well as philosophy of science. From the view of philosophy of culture, I approached the research of the front issues in the cultural philosophy of science, which contained demarcation of science, the problem of scientific rationality and scientific objectivity.In the cultural philosophy of science, through discussing the evolution of demarcation standard in science or non-science as well as the demarcation issue of natural science and mental science (cultural science), it is introduced Alan Sokal event and "science wars", which had a great influence upon western countries, and it is emphasized that it is necessary to fuse science and humanities, also it is comment on scientific differentiation from the point of view in the cultural philosophy of science; when it is analyzing the rationality of logicism and historism, the paper focus on how SSK, post-modern, post-colonial, feminism cultural philosophy of science could understand scientific rationality, and then remark it; at the same time, it is analyzed logical positivism, historism and SSK those four elements with scientific rationality respectively. Especially, investigate the theory of scientific rationality in post-modern cultural philosophy of science; post-colonialism criticized the ideology of scientific objectivity. The objective from the view of feminism cultural philosophy of science (eg: Harding advocated from "week" to "strong", Helen E. Longino stood for situation empiricism ) the paper have made an assessment of scientific objectivity issue from the angle of cultural philosophy of science; finally, the paper looked forward to the future of this research, containing it's conclusion, limitation and prospect.
