Cultivating People By The Aid Of Science--Research On LuXun's Scientific Thoughts

1.The purpose of the research: LuXun's scientific thoughts is not only an important part in his whole thought system, but also one of the two aspects of the idea of "cultivate people" in his enlightment thought system. The research of LuXun's scientific thoughts is very important in the following aspects: it can promotes the research of LuXun's thought, expands the range of the study of LuXun, riches the history of modern science as well as the history of scientific culture and the history of scientific society, also the research can deepen our understanding of science and strength the construction of the subject of philosophy of science and technology. LuXun is one of the most important leaders in the movement of "new culture" during The May Fourth period, so there is constant research about him from home and abroad. Some scholars have already done some research about LuXun's scientific thoughts from different aspects. However, on the whole the research about LuXun's scientific thoughts are not systematic, most of the scholars are always researching LuXun's scientific thoughts from certain angle and there is not an overall and systematic research about it at all . My paper aims to around the idea of "cultivate people"and offer an detailed and deep research about LuXun's thought of science. The paper wants to answer the following questions: what is the background and condition of the production of LuXun's scientific thoughts; what is the main content of the relation between LuXun's scientific thoughts; what's Nietzsche' thoughting have impact on the form of LuXun's scientific thoughts; what status does LuXun's scientific thoughts take in modern scientific thought; what is the limitation of LuXun's scientific thoughts and What inlights can the research provide.2.Methods of the research: select the related chapters, paragraphs and phrases from "the complete works of LuXun" and manage to understand correctly correctly; find out the character, formation, development, construction and the influence of LunXun's thought of science by reading related original works; read the materials which is about the works, papers, biography and memoirs of LuXun of the scholars in philosophy community, literature community,history community and science community extensively, to improve and deepen our understanding of the character, formation, development, construction and its influences.3.The conclusion: the paper wants to have some trying as follows: (1) point out the phase division thought of the development of LuXun's scientific thoughts.(2) try to find out the part of LuXun's scientific thoughts which is influenced by Nietzsche's thinking.4. The inadequacies of the research and direction of the future research(1) the materials about LuXun's scientific thoughts are much less than that about the overall research of LuXun's thoughts. However, it is very difficult to get all the materials that needed, and inevitably there are still parts that may understood incorrectly; (2) the future directions: I will make this paper as the starting point of my future academic research and constantly work hard, I will continually read "The complete works of LuXun" and the related reference, to higher the theoretical understanding of LuXun's scientific thoughts and my academic research capability.
