We have made more progress in vocabulary in Middle Ages and modern times. It is clearer for us to see the vocabulary history of Chinese. In the past, we paid more attention to ancient and contemporary vocabulary overlooked the middle history. We hade a through insight in knotty words and expressions, insufficiently pay attention to those common words. The vocabulary research should consist of knotty words, common words, accidence, period history research and whole history research.In the article, we looked common words of ((yijianzhi)) as the object. To be Concrete, we made the selection that we are going to make research the disyllabic words because it belongs to not only grammar category but semantics category as well. In the first place, we select the disyllabic words from sentences and divide them into eight forms. The important work is to make clear the internal meaning. Then we should retrieve information from the historical texts to know the history of the word. In yijanzhi, there are many oral words in Song dynasty, we should know which the oral word is and its meaning. In yijianzhi, there also have some words that were omitted by dictionary; we must know these words and their meaning.
