Abstract:There is a paradigm transfer from classic to romantic tomodern in western aesthetic history. From the end of 18th century, thecontroversy between classic and romantic became an era topic. GoetheSchiller Hegel Schelling Schlegel Croce Eliot and etc all took part in thecontroversy. Classic was regarded as ancient people's quality, taste andromantic was regarded as modern people's modern quality and modern taste.Just in the conflict between classic and romantic, the conception classic andromantic was becoming a conception of aesthetic paradigm. Thecongnizition of romanticity is the consciousness period of aestheticmodernity. The connotation of classic aesthetic paradigm is: first, it is a kind ofration-knowledge aesthetic. To the classic paradigm the most importantvalue is ration-knowledge. Second, it is a kind of harmony totality aesthetic.Totality and unity is the most important ideal to the classic aestheticparadigm. Third is that it is a kind of moralism aesthetic, the moral interestaim is its destination. In contrast, the romantic aesthetic paradigm is greatdifferent from classic paradigm. Romantic paradigm tried to transcend theclassic paradigm. Romantic paradigm emphasized the rule of disinterest, emphasized aesthetic's own particular inner aesthetic logic, which isdifferent from the logic of philosophy science and ration. The romanticparadigm's aim is to create beautiful image, to express people's feelingfreely, to built the independent value of aesthetic itself. Romantic transferration-knowledge to aesthetic image, began a feel transfer. At the same time, romantic paradigm regarded individual subjectivity as the most importantthing. It regarded man itself as the last aim. So romantic aesthetic can becalled a kind of subjectivity aesthetic. Now aesthetic changed from imtateobject world to exprss people's inner spirit world. It created a spirit transfer. At last, we must realize that romantic aesthetic is the reflection to themodern society. Romantic paradigm created miracles and legends just toexpress its discontent to the modern society and hunger for the romanticlife. 1After this, western aesthetic entered a new modern paradigm period.Modern aesthetic is the violent reflection to the high developed modernsociety. People was alinated and expressed by the high developed modernsociety. Aesthetic in this period so had a new character, that is to revealpeople's strong discontent to the modern civilizaition. And people wrinkledto their owen individual feel exist. In aesthetic world people expressed theirinfatuation with the direct life exist, base of exist, critical to the society. Allthese filled with a violent irrational aura. This modern aesthetic paradigmtried to transcend the high machine material modern world. At the sametime, modern aesthetic paradigm is the transcdence to the classic aestheticparadigm in aesthetic field itself. Its aim is to resist the objectionismrationism moralism. Such as Da Da and super-realism and etc, theseirrational modernism, phenoneal aesthetic and language transferredaesthetic are the same in the aim to change the classic paradigm in aestheticfield. The transfer of western aesthetic paradigm is the obtainment anddevelopment of western aesthetic modernity. From the consciousness ofromanticity, western aesthetic got its modernity. After this, the modernaesthetic is the second period of western aesthetic modernity. It is thedevelopment of aesthetic modernity in more dimension. The westernaesthetic modernity is the transcendence to the paradigm of classicity in theaesthetic field itself. At the same time it is the transcendence to themodernity of society. So we can say that western aesthetic modernity is adual transcendence: to the classicity of aesthetic paradigm and to themodernity of the society.
