The Research On Taiwan's Agricultural Economy In Qing Dynasty (AD1683～AD1895年)

Agriculture contains two kinds of content: narrow sense and broad sense. The narrow sense of agriculture means planting, the broad sense of agriculture consists of the planting,and many manufacture sections of livestock husbandry, aquaeulture, forestry, fishery etc. Someone calls it big agriculture now.The guiding ideology of article is dialectical materialism and historical materialism. The author insists in making the conclusion from historical data, handling masterfully related historical data of the authorized history, unofficial history, notes, collected works, local records, files ,stele inscription etc.The article, according to the research field of big agriculture, choosing the period of AD1683-AD1895, trying to use the research methods of history and sociology and geography, will study the condition of the distribution, forming, development and change of Tanwai's agricultural economy when Qing Dynasty governed Taiwan, will explore regular of development of Taiwan's agricultural economy in Qing Dynasty. The article is made up of the condition of the agricultural development and the condition of department of agricultural manufacture.
