The People's Republic of China was founded in1949, which symbolizes China becomes a really independent modern national state. From then on, New China still needed to calls for people's recognition on national state. What to be discussed in this paper are:how new China finishes the mission of constructing the legality of national identity through this important communication medium-minority films;what narrative content and ways are used in these films to fill up the content of the new China's national imagination so as to enrich the ideology and ethnic culture connotation of national identity.The time limit for study is defined between1949and1966, during which the unique political, economic and cultural features decide the context of generating minority national films:multi-ethnic country, socialist revolution and construction. According to the study, there are49ethnic minority films during1949and1966. These films are important part of the contemporary Chinese films, thus having great significance on community of Chinese multi-ethnic culture and socialist ideology. The contemporary theoretical results including "imagined community&ideological state apparatus" have been used purposefully consciously in this paper designated to have the traditional theme study and image art analysis endowed with massive sense and vertical sense. With a view to study in combination of point, line and face, as for the discussed carried out from the perspectives of "space","memory""working&medical teams", ideological state apparatus in the chapter of "territory" and those from the perspective of "subjective construction" in the chapters of "new people" and "female", they are the creative measures in relevant studies. Meantime, as for the judgments including the double words of national liberation and rebirth is centered on to start the National Minority Films during17years and new people and love forms are generated by taking the love words in the national minority films as the political metaphor, they play a role of stimulating and activating the utility of relevant studies.Chapter I "territory expression in national minority films". The reason why "territory" is seen an entrance is that the imagination about "New China" from the perspective of nation indicates reconstructing the recognition among areas inhabited by national minorities and other nationalities within the boundary of national territory. Thus, the specific image-based recognition is generated among different nationalities. However, to this end, the national minority films during17years make unremitting efforts and contributions. The core of the national minority films during17years is to arouse people's recognition on national state through memorial incidents occurred within the national territory and the meaningful landscape,based on which the deep connotation of the concept of "territory" is strengthened based on national defense awareness constructed through film narration. However, when the linear time brings people into the new historical context, the national minority films during17years also initiatively and vividly respond to the new era and context.Chapter II "Working group&medical team as ideological national weapon". Working group and medical team, important elements in the national minority films during17years, are also very typical ideological national weapon. According to historical facts, policy documents and movie text,this chapter tries to discuss minority films how to complete the function of ideological national weapon in the movie narrative and art presentations of working group and medical team and how to carry out policy towards nationalities, transfer national feeling and shape common historical tasks by working group how to construct identity by many achievements and medical team how to cure form body to spirit so as to realize the mission of Ethnic minorities to the national identity.Chapter III "New national minority people as the main image of New China". From four aspects including liberated youth and advanced youth, the personal and symbolic love and the localization and nationalization of cadres of ethnic minorities in this chapter, This chapter discusses that how New China according to the national concept of "new China" leads national minorities to jointly construct new China, arouse the awareness of its identity as the main body of new China. The "national new people", namely the advanced image with aspiration and pursuit and change for maturity and subjective significance gained in all nationalities in the national minority films during17years."New morality and ethics" is its essence. In the national minority films during17years, the narration of "national new people" becomes an important narrative drive going through it."Newness" itself has a strong revolutionary anti-traditional power and contains significant political expression method.Chapter IV "New China" and "national minority new female". The problems are discussed from the perspective of new Chinese national minority subjective construction. On one hand, in national minority films during17years, the identity of woman subjectivity is the projection of national state subjectivity. The film combines the dual words of women liberation and national liberation. The national minority female thus becomes a metaphor, including the destiny of whole national minorities. On the other hand, it is necessary for the females through revolutionary liberation to gain a subjective status. The gaining of the female's subjective status is not to let the females increase the female awareness to slide into the deep pond of bourgeoisie females but associate the liberation of females and pressure&liberation of whole class. The revolutionary discourse helps the females at the higher status gain the subjectivity of their gender. Under these two narrative strategies, the movie finishes the process of transformation and shaping of females from the slaves to people and from people to the socialist people.The remaining discussion makes some complement explanation to the changing conditions of minority films during17years and summarizes the whole article for further study.
