| 1 BackgroundWith the development of medical science,it is gradual deepening understanding to the essential of the health.It was found that health does not mean simply the physical and physiological aspects,but contains a broader content.In the past day,only used the incidence,prevalence,cure rate, survival rate,survival time,mortality,biological and chemical indicators to evaluat the clinical intervention or health indicators of the effectiveness of preventive measures has certain limitations.World Health Organization(WHO) put forward a new concept of health not only includes body health,but also includes a social life,mental health, psychological and many other aspects.1993,WHO definitied the quality of life (QOL) as "a feeling of the individuals who living in their culture and value system on which the status of background and status and its related objectives, expectations,standards." In essence,quality of life is different from the previous evaluation of disease treatment,it is a subjective experience of patients.Concerning for the patient's subjective feelings,it is a specialism of the traditional Chinese medicine.For thousands of years,except used the methods of watch,hear,feeling the pulse to examination the "objective indicators" of the traditional Chinese medical observation,doctors always should ask the patient's subjective experience,including the daily needs, feelings which belong to quality of life.If the quality of life became lower or decrease,we believe that it was a sick.Then they made a diagnosis and gived a treatment to let the patient feel "normal." By this way of thinking, Chinese medicine in improving the quality of life of patients has a unique advantage.At present,people have begun to realize that it was a high degree to evaluate the efficacy of Chinese medicine from quality of life. Type 2 diabetes as a high incidence of complications and more serious diseases, the effect on the patient's quality of life is great,it is necessary to applied "quality of life" to Chinese medicine treatment for diabetes intervention,and evaluated the scientific Chinese medicine treatment for diabetes,with international standards.2 research purposesThis study is to introduct the quality of life to the evaluation system of Chinese medicine treatment of diabetes to explore internal mechanism of use of Professor Peng Wannian Sijunzi—Sinisan Decoction to treat the patients with type 2 diabetes to improve the quality of life.With an view to observe Chinese medicine to treat the type 2 diabetes and improve the quality of life,and then made useful explorations.3 Research Methods①The patients with type 2 diabetes satisfy the inclusion criteria is 61 cases,use hypoglycemic agent+Modified Sijunzi—Sinisan Decoction for symptomatic treatment,Chinese Decoction once a day.②Before and after the treatment of patients with diabetes,the quality of life scoring scale will be assessed.Two scores will be done statistical process,to made contrast study.The treatment is for 8 weeks.4 resultsAfter the eight weeks to use hypoglycemic agent+Modified Sijunzi Sinisan to symptomatic treatment,the patient's quality of life improved markedly increase.The percentage of increase quality of life of the overall was more than 10%.The four observed characteristics of Chinese medicine,is improve after treatment in 33-46%,and the total improvement rate was 36%.In addition, patients in the treatment of before and after,analysis of variance showed that the variance of blood glucose levels after treatment decreased significantly than before treatment on blood glucose fluctuations.5 conclusion of the study①Sijunzi—Sinisan Decoction with the use of hypoglycemic drug therapy of type 2 diabetes mellitus,can significantly improve some patients' symptoms,significantly improve the quality of life of patients.②Use Sijunzi—Sinisan Decoction to invigorating Spleen soothing liver regulating qi,can improve the Liver controlling dispersion to regulate Human Body Physiologic function,then reduce blood glucose fluctuations significantly,prevent and treat for complications and thus improve the quality of life in patients with a certain sense. |
