Aim:(1)Find out the academic features and the development direction of Korean Peninsula medicine through its medical history study;(2)By analyzing the development and transformation process of the Confucianism in Korea Peninsula,find out the influence of Confucianism on the mainstream thoughts of Korean Peninsula from the angle of philosophy;(3)Analyze the Confucian influence on Korean Peninsula medicine and discuss the relationship between Confucianism and medicine with the hope of reexamining the connotation and value of Confucianism by studying the Korean Peninsula academic viewpoints about medicine.Methods:(1)Research on Korean Peninsula medical history: this article attempts to study the philosophical influence on Korean Peninsula medicine in different historical periods from the aspects of history,politics and social and cultural development.At Remote Ages,medicine was mainly influenced by witchcraft;in Three Kingdoms Period of Korean Peninsula,medicine coexisted with witchcraft;in Silla Period and early days of Goryeo Period,medicine was greatly influenced by Buddhism;at the end of Goryeo Period and Joseon Dynasty,medicine was mainly influenced by Cheng Hao's, Cheng Yi's and Zhu Xi's theories,especially by Zhu Xi's theory which became the official theory at the end of Joseon Dynasty.(2)The spread and development of Confucianism in Korean Peninsula:With this research,we can find out the reasons why Confucianism became the official study in Joseon Dynasty and the influence on medicine from each social sector.(3)Research on the influence on Korean Peninsula medicine:It analyzes the Confucian significant influence on medicine in the development period in Korean Peninsula by analyzing the representative medical works of Korean Peninsula in history including Xiang Yao Ji Cheng Fang(1409),Yi Fang Ju Lei(1477),Yi Lin Cuo Yao(1579), Dong Yi Bao Jian(1613),Dong Yi Shou Shi Bao Yuan(1901)and Yi Ling(1798),etc. Research has been carried out in this thesis about the acceptance and integration of Chinese Medicine with local customs,the adoption of Confucianism and its guidance function and the important influence of Confucianism in the development of Korean Peninsula medical academic thoughts.Conclusion:(1)Xiang Yao Ji Cheng Fang,Yi Fang Ju Lei,Yi Lin Cuo Yao and Dong Yi Bao Jian were mainly influenced by Cheng Hao's,Cheng Yi's and Zhu Xi's theories.(2)Dong Yi Shou Shi Bao Yuan was influenced by Mencius theoreis and Yangming theories and mainly by the latter.(3)Yi Ling was influenced by the North School. It is one of the important signs marking that Korean Peninsula medicine was directing toward the orientation of focusing on practice and ignoring theories.Conclusion:By reviewing longitudinally the medical development in Korean Peninsula,we can find out that Confucianism at its maturity period guided the medical development in Korean Peninsula at superorganic aspect.
