Background:Currently, malignant tumour is one of the important diseases that endangers human heath. WHO reported there died over 7million cancer in 2000, cancer accounts for 12% in all the cause of death. Now, every year there occur about 15 million new cancer sufferers all over the world. Basing on the development trend, the incidence of cancer will go up by 50% in 2020. In China, cancer accounts for 19% in all the cause of death, and the incidence of cancer has been in a tendency of incarease over the past 50 years. So, research in cancer's prevention and cure has become the key problem in our country as well as in the world.So far, therapies for cancer mainly include operation, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Operation is selected firstly, but sometimes replaced by the other two therapies because it cannot process owing to the factors of orientation, infitration and metastasis of tumour. Chemical drugs not only kill cancer cells, but also give sevious toxic and side effects, furthermore, there is an obvious dose-effect relationship in most chemicals. So, it has been a focus problem in iatrology field that looking for synthetic therapy to decrease toxic and side effects and to increase curative effect of anti-tumour.Aim:In this experiment, we adopt acupuncture associating with TAX ,which is a new anti-cancer drug, to treat mice with Lewis lung cancer. The aim is to investigate the anti-cancer effect and mechanism , to prove the theory of the combination of acupuncture and medication and affirm their cooperating effect.Methods:...
