Experimental Study Of The Expanded Skin Flap Blood Supply And Influence Factors And Clinical Applications

Method1: In 5 rabbits , according to Timmenga's method , two 150ml rectangle tissueexpanders were implanted between the panniculus carnosus and the skin on the back , 1.5cm lateral to the spine . Another 5 rabbits served for anatomic study of skin circulation .In addition , 30 more rabbits for the study of tissue expander implantation between the panniculus carnosus and deep fascia . In 10 of these 30 more rabbits , the tissue expander was implanted through an incision on the back , then the skin , panniculus carnosus and the deep fascia were sutured together internally outside around the expander . In another 10 rabbits of them , the tissue expander was also implanted through an incision on the back,, but the panniculus carnosus and the dermis were sutured with the deep fascia inside the pocket. In residual 10 more rabbits , the skin , panniculus carnosus and the deep fascia were sutured internally outside and the tissue expander was implanted through an incision on the abdomen . All of these expanders were inflated with saline weeklyto a total of 400ml.2 : In 10 rabbits axial flap 5x15cm in size was raised basing on the thoracodorsalis vessel. In another 13 rabbits a random flap 5x15cm in size was elevated beside the thoracodorsalis vessel. Two line probe holder were fixed by double-coated adhesive tape at the spot 3cm ,7.5cm,9.5cm and 13.5cm to the pedicle respectively (named abdomen:A1, A2, A3, A4 and back :B1, B2, B3, B4 ). Measured the blood flow of the flap by laser doppler flowmeter under varying degrees of tension .The flap was sutured at length of 15cm.
