Neuroendocrinological regulation is essential to human lifeThe pituitary plays an important role in the feedbackregulationg cycles of neuroendocrinological system inconnecting the central nervous system with peripheral targetglands and cells. Pituitary transplantation ( PT) is oftenemployed in basic and clinical medical researches.Immunological rejection is one of the key problems of PTResearchers have tried a few methods to weaken the rejectionreaction in PT. Up till now, no satisfactory method of thiskind has been searched out, therefore, further studies arenecessary. The effects of pituitary culture and T2 on PT were studied in this experiment. The rat6 were divided into 9 groups (A-â… ):A, mormal control; B, sham-operated; C, hypophysectomized; D, newly taken pituitaries from the donors were transplanted heneath the median eminence of hypophysectomized recipients using the parapharyngeal approach; E, PT wa6 done as group D , T2 had been given 50mg/kg/day p. o for 7 days from 24 hours before the operation , then, 30mg/kg/day for 3 weeks; F, PT was done as group D, CyA had been given 10mg/kg/day p. o for 7 days from 24 hours before the operation, then, 5mg/kg/day for...
