Ecg Waveform Variation Theory To Explore The Research And Analysis Methods

There is rich physiological and pathological information in ECG waveform variation. But ECG waveform variation has been not widely used since there is still no effective algorithm for operating it. In order to make it more available, exiting algorithms of ECG waveform variation were summarized and new algorithms of ECG waveform variation were proposed, and the optimal algorithm was selected by rough sets for clinical diagnosis.A new algorithm was designed to detect QRS complex. The efficacy of this algorithm was examined with the ECG records of different data sources in MIT-BIH database. The result showed that the correct detection rate of QRS complex could be up to 99.39%.Based on the synchronously recorded ECG signals and chest volume signals in MIT-BIH database, we further analyzed the influence of respiration on ECG waveforms and the effect of using unified amplitude to eliminate this influence.In this dissertation, ECG waveform variations of 153 cases of ECG records were analysed with different algorithms. ECG waveform variations were calculated with algorithms of Varimin and Vector Quantization so as to get sequences of QRS complex and T wave waveform variation of fixed model, sequences of QRS complex and T wave waveform variation between neighboring beats, and sequences of QRS complex and T wave multimode. Furthermore, all the sequences of waveform variations were caculated to get the correlation dimension, Lyapunov exponent, approximate entropy and Boolean Kolmogrov complexity. The information entropy and multimode Kolmogrov complexity of multimode sequences are also calculated.
