Endometriosis (EM) is a disease at a place of ectopia of endometrium with growth function and mesenchyme outside the uterine cavity and muscular layer. Over the past years, EM incidences is significantly rising. With dysmenorrheal and sterility as the main clinical manifestation, EM seriously affects the life quality of the patients. EM usually appears in women of child-bearing age and most EM occurs in the ovary and usually forms ectopia cyst inside the endometrium. Although EM is a benign pathological change, yet it has a planting, infiltration and distant shift ability similar to malignant tumor. A small number of EM cyst may get canceration and form secondary endometrioid cancer of ovary, which is also called "begin cancer" .The introduction of the concept of immunology has greatly improved the understanding of EM pathogenic mechanism. The doctrine of menstruation back flow planting proposed in the past once provided powerful basis for EM rise. In recent years, however, scholars have proposed that among the women with periodical menstruation, adverse flow of menstruation was a popular physiological phenomenon instead of disease of individuals. Theoretically, in comparison with EM in different parts of the body, EM formed in the endometrium organization through blood stream and distant transfer of lymph is very rare. The invasion may be due to that the immune system of the organism cannot eliminate ectopic intimal fragments and planting of rejection ectopic intima.A great deal of research work has proved that a patient is frequently accompanied with abnormal immune function of cells and body fluid of partial and whole body, with main exhibition of immune restraining and unbalance of immune irritation.
