The Influence of Shen Fu Injection on the Myocardial Remodeling of the Abdominal-aorta-constricdted RatsHeart Failure(HF) is a kind of syndrome mainly characterized by circulation obstruction which is caused by the failure of cardiac output to satisfy the need of metabolism of human body.Various factors may have led to the decline of myocardial contractility,then the failure might happen,propably followed by the insufficiency of blood infusion in organs and tissues,then circulation obstruction migh happen.HF is the serious stage of various heart diseases and now is regarded as an increasing health problem of the public in 21st century.With the escalating of the aging process of our country's populations,the morbidity and mortality of HF are on the increase.Therefore,the prevention and treatment of HF is still a major task in medical field.The basic mechanism of HF is myocardial remodeling,mainly manifested in the form of myocardial hypertrophy, interstitium fibrosis,the increase of heart weight and of ventricular volume, the change of centricular shape(like a ball as a result of the increase of diameter)and the changes at cell level.Therefore,the direction of treatment for HF is to interrupt the myocardial remodeling process and to interfere in the biological mechanism within myocardial cells.With the traditional treatments such as "strengthening heart, promoting urine and dilating blood vessels"gradually being replaced by some anti-neuroendocrine medicines,progress has been made to a degree in the treatment aiming at interrupting the process of myocardial remodeling,but many researches are still on primary stage.At the same time,parts of the patients found it difficult to endure the cough caused by ACEI and its alike medicines,some patients had contraindications(HR<60/min,Asthma Bronchiale , Atrioventricular block above II )for the administration of 3 -receptor antagonist.All these problems make the treatments through traditional Chinese medicine be attached more and more importance to.We mainly adopt measures of " Benefiting-Qi and Warming-Yang",Choosing Shen Fu Injection (a Traditional Chinese Herbal Complex,TCM injection),which possesses a good effect on the cure of HF,as our major treatment.We set up two control groups respectively including the cure with Shen Mai Injection and Enalapril.With "myocardial remodeling"as our focal point,we will study the influence of Shen Fu Injection on the myocardial remodeling of the rats with overloaded pressure and the action mechanism from different perspectives such as rennin-angiotensin system, the expression of the related cell factors and the cell signal transmission.At the same time,through comparing the effect with each other between two treatments of " Benefiting-Qi and Warming-Yang"and " Complenting-Qi and Ying",We will approach the relation between over-loaded pressure and Chinese-Traditional-Medicine-based symptoms and treatment during the process of myocardial remodeling.Methods:80 clean-ranked Wistar rats were used to be divided at random into different groups. 12 rats were chosen as the sham group,the other 68 rats were left to be the operation group,in which the rats were operated on with the method of partly constricting abdominal aorta.We remained a gap of 0.7mm in diameter to make around stricture during the operation,then a pressure-overloaded HF model of mouse was made.In the sham group,the abdominal aortae were separated but not bound.Four weeks after operation two rats were picked up from the sham group while another two from the operation group for pathological examination,which showed the models were successfully made.The operation group was further divided at random into the following groups:the model, Shen Fu Injection, Shen Mai Injection and Enalapril group.The number of the survivors in each group before they were killed is as follow:In the sham group,n=10;the model group,n=9;the Shen Fu Injection group,n=ll;the Shen Mai Injection group,n=9;the Enalapril group,n=10.four weeks after operation the administrations began,which lasted four weeks...
