The main viruses of pathogen include:influenza virus, parainfluenza virus, syncytial virus, cytomegalovirus, adenovirus, rhinovirus, coronaviruses, some enterovirus and so on. It's pathogen is "heat devil", while it's differentiation is "damp". The antivirus of Chinese medical materia is certain without side effect in modern pha rmocology and clinical research. Many decotions of clearing away heat, eliminating damp and detoxication have antiviral effects in vivo and in vitro.ObjectiveTo estimate the clinical effect and safty of modified Sanren dectotion in treatment Infections of respirovirus with damp-heat syndrome and establish foundation for further clinical and theoretical study.MethodObjects meet both the differentiation standard of damp-heat syndrome and diagnostic criteria of Infections of respirovirus. Objects were devided into the group with modified Sanren dectotion and another group with ribovirin. Examined and compared the clinical efficacy, therapeutic effect of TCM syndrome, T lymphocyte cell subpopulation and meain climical symptoms and signs, to evaluate the efficacy and sfety of modified Sanren dectotion. Grouped data was analyzed by χ2test and ranked data was analyzed by rank sum test. Two sample means and were compared by t test or rank sum test. Self circa were compared by matched-pairs t test or rank sum test.Result70cases is included and devided into2group averagely. Patients'mean age is29.1±8.55years. The clinical efficacy, therapeutic effect of TCM syndrome in two groups had decreased in after treatment, the difference was significant, which meaned two groups could meliorating symptoms of infestions of respirovirus with damp and heat syndrome. But the score in treatment group was lower than control group, so Sanren decotion has had more effective than the control group in meliorating symptoms of infestions of respirovirus with damp and heat syndrome. CD3+%,CD4+%,CD8+%,CD4/CD8increased after treatment, and the difference was significant comparing with befor treatment. NK%decreased after treatment, but the difference wasn't significant comparing with befor treatment. CD3+%,CD4+%,CD8+%,CD4/CD8in control group increased after treatment, but the difference wasn't significant comparing with befor treatment. NK%increased after treatment, but the difference wasn't significant comparing with befor treatmen, too. So Sanren dectotion can increase humoral and cellular immunity. The treatment group had more effective than the control group in meliorating symptoms and signs, such as fever with chilliness, heavy body and tired, pharyngeal congestion and swelling in chest and stomach.. All paitents had no side effects and abnormal changes in the index of blood, urina, excrement and liver and kidney function. Clinical research showed that both of drugs had high safty.ConelusionThis study showed the Modified Sanren Decoction has itsadvantages in treating infections of respirovirus without apparent side effects. It's as follow:meliorate symptoms, signs and increase index of humor and cellular immunity. It can incease patients'quality of life safely, supassing the contol group. This study showed cleaning away heat and promoting damp is the key therapeutical rule of treating infections of respirovirus and will be a new method.
