Statistical Method for time series analyses has been widely used in economics and finance, meteorology etc and been popularized in western medicine. But it is seldom applied in the Traditional Chinese Medicine research. Melatonin has been received much attention by research because of its key role in adjusting the circadian rhythm of living organism as light cycle transduction signal connecting our body with outside. Until that moment, study on melatonin secretion at a certain time in key seasons has been used to statically verify and describe involved TCM theory.The melatonin secretion in 24 hours is a group of typical time series data. It is of great significance to use statistics method for time series to explore involved TCM theory scientifically and prove adjusting effects of Chinese Medicine nourishing kidney prescriptions on light-melatonin biosignal transduction cycle. Based on the light-MT biological signal transduction theory and methodological research, this paper uses the time series dig deep to analysis light-melatonin biosignal transduction operation system.Part one:light-MT biological signal transduction theory and methodological researchNormally melatonin is secreted impulsively in 24 hours circulation. It's usually lower in the day and higher at night. Besides,it varies in different months and seasons due to the change of light cycle,and age is also a relative factor. The light biology research shows that the artificial light source obviously influences the MT secretion.So far, the melatonin research in TCM has been focused in the orientation of "five organs corresponding to time" such as "lungs corresponding to autumn","kidneys corresponding to winter" etc. But the major cycle time of season is only a part of "nature" in "correspondence between nature and human",while the 24 hours cycle dimension of day and night reflects more trends and continuity correspondence between "nature" and "human".This interaction between light,melatonin and organism help to form a periodic channel in which biochemical metabolic reactions,gene expressions and biosignal which synchronously swinging with the light signal in external environment could get transduction,impacting on endocrine,breathe,sexual maturity,somatic cell,germ cell, metabolism circulation,telomere even the gene expression time,and forms the Period Network of the Light-MT Biosignal Transduction,regulates and controls life activities.Adopting the time series statistics to unveil the biomedical significance of the network of light-melatonin biosignal transduction,will lead to new breakthroughs and discoveries.Part two:The Time series analysis on light-melatonin biological signal conductionFirst of all,premise based on the formal research,that the light-melatonin biological conduction signal is a key signal of "correspondence between nature and human". Then,due to the obvious numeric attributes of time series such as periodicity,continuity,regularity etc,we can research them with time series method.(1) Descriptive statistics AnalysisThe result of Descriptive Statistic Analysis shows a lot of extremism,sometimes zeroes,caused by the experimental method,condition,data acquisition error etc,will have negative impacts in follow statistics,make the result inexact,or even false.Therefore we need to fill the blanks according to the data trends with Interpolation method of time series.(2) Application of Interpolation method of time seriesWith the use of the interpolation method, the interpolation data and the original data in the overall trend generally consistent, less the data of zero appear, improve the accuracy of data.The relevant statistical results within the group and between the group changed a lot after the use of the interpolation method, better reflects the relationship among the data. At the same time, the interpolation data statistical results suggest that light and TCM herbs have certain interference effect both on mouse MT secretion and PNLMBT, for the follow-up design direction. Give the direction of the follow-up experimental design.(3) The tuning mechanism of Chinese herbs on PNLMBT based on the System stability test of The Time series analysis methodIn this part we try to find out the TCM herbs effects on tuning mechanism of the PNLMBT running based on the application of time series stationarity ADF unit root test and Spearman test. The light could inhibit mouse MT secretion, but will make it run out from the stable state, the kidney-tonifying herbs can turn the system back into a stable state, which show the effects of kidney-tonifying herbs on PNLMBT operation tuning mechanism.(4)The ARMA model based on the Light-MT Biosignal TransductionBased on the above analysis, by constructing time series of the data from the mice serum MT concentration experiment, and modeling ARMA (p,q), we describe the tuning effect of light-melatonin biosignal transduction cycle with statistics, meanwhile predict the experimental data,through which the analysis result basically correlated with the conclusion from formal experiments,concludes that the model presents good prediction.Conclusion:Biomedical significance on the Light-MT Biosignal TransductionBased on the above analysis, we can found that the nonlinear characteristics of the intervention about Chinese herbs on light-MT biological transduction process; the selectivity characteristics of influence on different time points in the MT secretion; the influence of light and herbs on MT secretion system stable; The biomedical significance in the tuning mechanism of Chinese herbs on PNLMBT operation mechanism.
