Research PurposesThis research is to Use qualitative and quantitative methods to develop the importance of hospital soft power for strategic development in hospital. Construct the evaluation model of hospital soft power. To propose strategy advice with Chinese characteristics constructing hospital soft power and provide a new perspective for the development and the construction of hospital.Research MethodsIn this research, literature review and analysis, field investigation, expert consultation and Delphi method were used to develop the indicators system, and Fuzzy mathematics was used to construct evaluation model of hospital soft power. The regression method was used to the correlation between hospital soft power and hospital performance in software SPSS. Weighted percentage was use to compare hospital soft power. SWOT analysis was used to find development strategy of hospital soft power.Research Contents1. To define the connotation of hospital soft power.2. To construct a conceptual model of hospital soft power.3. To establish hospital soft power evaluation model.4. To confirm hospital soft power evaluation model.5. To propose strategy advice with Chinese characteristics constructing hospital soft power.Research Results1. The five key elements evaluation of the hospital soft power evaluation is be Constructed, including culture force, management ability, innovation capacity, capability of solving emergency (coordination capability) and public relations vigor. According to various dimensions role in hospital soft power, soft power is divided into open, energy type, pragmatic type and ideal type.2. (1)An evaluation indicator system for hospital soft power is to be developed including 5 primary indexes,14 secondary indexes,65 level 3 indexes. Class 1 evaluation indicators including culture force, management ability, innovation capacity, capability of solving emergency (coordination capability) and public relations vigor. Cultural force includes 5 class 2 indicators, management ability includes 3 class 2 indicators, innovation capacity includes 2 class 2 indicators, capability of solving emergency includes 1 class 2 indicator, public relations vigor includes 3 class 2 indicators.(2)By means of experts consultation, the weighting of each class of indicators is determined. The weighting of class 1 indicators is 0.142,0.335,0.225,0.125 and 0.173 respectively. The weighting of class 2 indicators is 0.0243,0.0271,0.0291, 0.0318,0.0297,0.1380,0.1236,0.0734,0.1237,0.1013,0.1250,0.0503,0.0732 and 0.0495 respectively.3. (1) The relationship between the hospital soft power and patient satisfaction could be estimated with power regression curve, and regression equation is: Y=b0*Xb1=45.956*X0.458(2) The relationship between the hospital soft power and staff belonging could be estimated with power regression curve, and regression equation is: Y=b0*Xb1=32.390*X1.042Conclusions(1) The soft power and hard power should be coordinated development.(2) Structure of evaluation model of hospital soft power is reasonable, Evaluation result accords with practice.(3) Different evaluation method shows same evaluation result, the model is relatively stability. (4) The relationship between the hospital soft power and patient satisfaction could be estimated with power regression curve. The relationship between the hospital soft power and staff satisfaction could be estimated with quadratic regression curve. So the development of the soft power has a degree.
