| In 21 Century, the competition of enterprises will shift from the market dominated by product and productivity to the manufacture architecture driven by the demand of customers. Thanks to the carrier of internet, the customer-driven manufacture which purposes on lifting the life quality of individuals can be developing quickly. This dissertation takes raising the agility of the building and executing of the product customization system as its main objective, and focuses on studying the technologies of presentation and construction of Product Family Model (PFM, the matrix model for rapid design) and the mechanism of product reasoning.Firstly, the dissertation reviews and analyses the theories of the product design for Mass Customization (MC), then presents the idea of the stepping constructing of PFM and intelligent reasoning of product to improve the procedure of PFM constructing and product reasoning. The main research works of the dissertation are as follows:1. The strategy and the logical framework of the stepping constructing and intelligent configuration of PFM are proposed, in which the PFM is divided into two parts-Foundation Model and Enhanced Model. The former is built in the phase of building system, and the later is generated gradually in course of system executing, and different reasoning means will be used according to different situation.2. A Foundation Model - the Graded Component Object Model of Product Family (GCOM) is offered on the analysis of knowledge characteristics of PFM. Then, the component object, the Conjunctional Hiberarchy Model of Product (CHM) and the relationships among component objects are defined respectively. Whereafter, the rapid generating mechanism of the instances of component objects and product is introduced. Based on the theory of GCOM, an Enhanced Model - the Skeleton Model of Product Family (SKM) is offered. After studied the constitutes and characteristics of the two parts of SKM - the Extracting Skeleton Model of Product Family (ESKM) and the Associated Skeleton Model of Product Family (ASKM), some relative methods supporting the stepping constructing and intelligent configuration of PFM are proposed, such as the extracting algorithm of ESKM, the decision tree learning algorithm of ESKM choosing and product customization.3. Based on the theories of GCOM and SKM, a technical framework ofintelligent configuration of product instance is presented. Then, the reasoning technology of function-structure component and reasoning mechanism of product instance are studies respectively. Some methods such as the mapping algorithms from customer demand domain to function domain and from function domain to structure domain, the generic algorithm of constraints resolving, the reasoning algorithm based on GCOM and template, the reasoning algorithm based on GCOM and SKM, et aL Finally, the performances of these reasoning algorithms are analyzed.4. A technical famework of internet based product customization integrated system is proposed, in which the functional structure of the system of stepping constructing and intelligent configuration of PFM is described. A technical method of constructing the system of product customization based on GCOM and SKM is offered subsequently. As an application example, a mountain bike (MTB) customization system is built from a universal foundation platform. By executing the system, the PFM of a kind of mountain bikes is constructed, and then, a product instance is obtained. The procedures include the constructing of GCOM, the extracting of ESKM, the learning of the decision tree of ESKM choosing, the function-structure reasoning and the MTB instance reasoning based on GCOM and SKM.The research is supported by A National Natural Science Fund and A Team Project of Natural Science Fund of GuangDong Province.
