During the 11th Five-Year periods in China, Urbanization is still listed and become one of china's social economy six important development strategies. Urbanization is always in an intense social and economic change. It is a dynamic and temp-spatial process of completely changing the various aspects such as an economy, society, the ecosystem, culture and so on. With the urbanization speeding up ,the development of regions needs a great deal of funds, resources and the population's transfer as sustainment, and has extremely weakened the eco-environment capacity, which caused a series of eco-environment problem, but this influence is greatly different in different regions and region internal, especially in the administrative areas. Therefore, it is necessary to study the eco-security condition and the spatial pattern regulation in the process of urbanization with the gridding technology, which has important theories and practice meaning for the research areas to implement scientific development view and set up a harmonious society.Combining the research of national science foundation(40771019), and choosing the Guanzhong area as study area, this paper combing qualitative with quantitative to determine eco-security evaluation grade Threshold, on the basis of the comprehensive analysis ecosystem environment condition in research area and summarizing up the property of eco-security. According to "pressure-status-respondance" model, the paper built up eco-security evaluation system in the process of urbanization under gridding. through the interpretation of the Zone of Central plain remote sensing image in the year of 1990, 2000 and 2007, the paper acquired the land use data of the corresponding year, and then express the each evaluation system index under 1km* 1km dimension In support of the gridding GIS technology and using·land ue data and NDVI data. Subsequently, the paper acquired the gridding spatial data of the eco-security indexes for Guanzhong area, using the technology of spatial overlaying of grid data. Finally, by the spatial autocorrelation, spatial heterogeneity, spatial-temporal evolution of the convergence to ground statistics analysis, the paper summarized the characteristics of the eco-security in Guanzhong area during the year of 1990-2007, and combined the effect of the eco-security index's weight and the changing condition in order to try proposing some suggestions about tne construction of eco-security. The paper has drawn the below-mentioned conclusion:(1)Gridding GIS technology has many advantages in studying eco-security compared to using administrative region as the smallest unit. That is, to a certain extent, it reveals the condition of the eco-security within the administration unit, thus it can provide a scientific basis on studying area eco-security.(2) The characteristic of Guanzhong area's temperature and humidity indexes are as follows: temperature and humidity indexes of several districts and counties surrounding Xi'an city always keep preferable grade. It indicates that this region's meteorological environment was reflected by the combination of temperature and humidity indexes were more suitable than other regions for survival and livelihood. But the area had been expanding in 2000. The difference between temperature and humidity was mere 10.89 which is far smaller than which were in 1990 (45.7) and 2000 (47.27), which shows that the meteorological environment was out of the way in 2007.(3) The characteristic of the Guanzhong area's hydrological indexes are as follows: in the year of 1990, it is obvious that the index is becoming decreasing from west to east. In the year of 2000, the spatial pattern of the hydrological indexes is changed; the bigger areas are mostly located in the surroundings of Guangzhong area. In the year of 2007, the spatial pattern of the hydrological indexes is opposite to 1990, mostly located in WeiNan city, this make that year these district of the hydrology index be higher and also show that the weather in the year of 2007 environment exist abnormality.(4) The status of the eco-security in Guanzhong area are as follows, In the whole Guanzhong area, according to the evaluation system of ecological security in the process of urbanization which is conceived in this article, the status of ecological security about this area are as follows, those are no longer existing which are the most eco-insecurity regions. However, there are larger areas which are relatively insecure regions. On the other hand, the ecological security regions those major distributions are in Yangling district, Yijun county of Tongchuan, Taibai county, Feng county, Qianyang county of Baoji, Liquan county of Xianyang and so on. These are basically true of facts.(5)The spatial-temporal characteristics of the Guanzhong area's eco-security are as follows, the trend of the eco-security is becoming better in the whole, but still has some unsafe states; the variety of eco-security change inside the area is obvious differential; Different year has different influencing factors on eco-security.(6)In the year of 1990 and 2000, the Features of Spatial autocorrelation of the ecosystem safety area are not obvious. But in 2007, it is obviously increasing, which suggest that in the year of 2007 the eco-security area show the good clustering in the space.This paper tries to have innovation in a few following aspects:(1) The system of eco-security evaluation and the Threshold of grade are built. Considering the eco-security's relativity and dynamic characteristics, and combing the result of the urbanization of Guanzhong area eco-security condition analysis, the paper has tried building the gridding of regional eco-security evaluation system, and uses the method of combining qualitative with quantitative to explore and try to solve the problem of the grade of threshold of eco-security.(2) Trying to study the eco-security of Guanzhong area by the method of gridding. So far, people have never used grid method to study the eco-security of Guanzhong area. Therefore, this paper adopted the gridding method to reveal the difference of spatial patterns of eco-security condition in administrate areas in some extent. Thus As to it's carried on a more actual spatial-temporal an expression, for further the research close medium region eco-security provided to compare for science, reasonable of space data Promise.(3) The paper has used the gridding method to express the statistic data, such as population, GDP and environmental elements and so on. On the basis of their previous research of the method of spatialization, proposing and practicing a new method to study the spatialization of the statistical data. The result suggested that this method has many advantages, such as it is strong in operability and easy to realize, and has little subjective influence, but this method still exists accuracy shortage, and it is deserved a further research.(4) Analyzing the spatial-temporal variety of the eco-security based on the spatial Markov theory. By overlaying quantitative grid data, the paper has applied the spatial-temporal variety of the economy Based on the spatial Markov theory to analyst the spatial-temporal variety of the regional eco-security and has analyzed the trend of spatial-temporal variety of eco-security in the Guanzhong area and has drawn some conclusions.
