Securinine 1 was synthesized With conju— gated α-ketol 7 as the key intermediate by triphenyimethyl sodium catalyzed condensation .α— ketol 2 was an important intermediate in the procedure of the total synthesis of securinine. its synthesis was studied respectively with cyclohexeneone, ally bromide and 2, 4—cyclohexanedione as the starting materials, and α—ketol 2 was synthesized either with ally bromide or with 1, 4—cyclohexanedione as the starting material .The intermediate and by—products were identified with MS, IR and ~1HNMR, and the mechanisms of production of the by—products were suggested.As the second part of the dissertation, the possibility of the synthesis of compound 8807 was investigated.
