| In production and everyday life, there are some problems which was hard to resolvein flow of pollution-control. If the traditional sealed enclosures or partial enclosures isused to control pollutants, the collection rate of it is very low, and it costs more energyconsumption.Convergent Air Curtain(CAC) is a "invisible, transparent, enclosed heatshield" between the pollutants and operator . It can be used to controll pollutionsources outside because it is a sealed cover which can preventcontamination-spreading out, and cut off the heat-passing out. So the CAC is veryuseful for environmental protection, labor protection and health protection inproduction and everyday life.According to the actual site and experimental requirements, the author has builtan experimental model prototype for the convergent air curtain,has done univariateand multivariate experiments,has done effect analysis of lateral pressure, pollutantdispersion, air curtain installation angle, wind speed, air pressure, air distributor andother factors. Carried out a large number of laboratory studies, the author has fund outthe best process parameters and a convergent limited space jet theoretical model isestablised. Adaptation range and work ability of convergent space jet have beenstudied by changing the temperature (thermal) field, pollutants (gaseous pollutantsSO2, dust) diffusion field, the external pressure field and other externalconditions,and other related theoretical analysis and research have been done in thisprocess.Based on the results of experimental and theoretical analysis, a small industrialexperiment has been made in a molten salt electrolysis furnace of one rare earth groupplant, the experimental results showed that room temperature was reduced by 5.1degrees, dust concentration of pollutants was reduced by 50% and air pollutantconcentration was reduced by 97%. According to a comparative analysis of pollutantcontrol between common set of hood and the model prototype for the convergent aircurtain, The latter can greatly improve the treatment effect and the energyconsumption can be reduced by 40.6%. |
