π0photoproduction and real Compton scattering processes are two of the most common reactions in high energy particle and nuclear physics experiments, measuring the recoil polarization of the proton in these processes will help us understand the underlying reaction mechanism. This thesis will present the results of the polarization observables of the proton in1H ((?))π0reaction and1H (((?))γ reaction. These experiments were carried out in Jefferson lab in2007-2008.The π0photoproduction data were successfully indentified from the background data of GEp-III and GEp-2y experiments. Our data extends the polarization measurement of neutral pion photoproduction database up to E=5.6GeV. Our results have the smallest uncertainties comparing to previous measurements. In the lower energy regime (incident photon energy smaller than2.7GeV), the results agreed with previous measurements and the SAID model predictions. In higher energy region (greater than3GeV), We found our results does not agree with any theoretical curves predicted by perturbative QCD. The results show non-zero induced polarization, and the transfer polarization components are changing dramatically as function of θπc, m and the incident photon energy near incident photon energy of5.6GeV. This might be an evidence of high mass baryon resonance. In the analysis of real Compton scattering, we compared the result with pQCD and handbag model based theoretical predictions. The results turned out to favorite the handbag model than the pQCD predictions, and this proved again that the pQCD is still not established at the incident photon energy of3.6GeV. Together with previous Hall A measurement results, the real Compton scattering data are more closer to CQM model curve in all the theoretical predictions.
