Chinese government has been emphasizing the importance of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" problems by the "Central NO.1 Document" since 2004. The farmers are the core in the "three-dimensional rural issues", and the farmers’consumption is the core of the farmers.the farmers’consumption is not only an economic issue, but also a social and political issues.The paper is composed of six chapters apart.The preface, introduces the background of the paper, the significance of the topic, research methods, the basic structure and the main content, the main innovation and inadequate.The first chapter:a brief introduction and extensive analysis on the peasant’s consumption. Finally the paper brings a brief evaluation and takes out a systematical thread on the whole.Chapter two take a general analysis on the development of the peasants’ consumption from the perspective of consumption levels, consumption structure, regional differences in consumption, and differences in income levels of different consumer groups.It has been a consensus in the economics profession that Income is the most critical factor affecting consumer spending. From The Third chapter we can see that it is a empirical analysis between China and the per capita net income of rural residents per capita consumption expenditure, trending from China per capita net income of rural residents to start, the focus of historical time data comparision and analysis of inter-provincial cross-sectional data, on this basis, the future of China’s rural residents per capita consumption expenditure predicted.The income of rural residents is the most important factor affecting consumer spending, but not the only factor. The fourth chapter analyzes the non-income factors of impacting per capita consumption expenditure of China’s rural residents, including urbanization, rural public goods supply, consumer credit three factors.Based on the above analysis, the fifth chapter gives the consumption ability to enhance China’s rural residents path selection from improving rural incomes, resolving liquidity constraints consumption, speeding up urbanization, innovating rural public goods supply system and nurturing rural consumer markets etc.
