Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture is a region where is inhabited by mulch-ethnic group to Dai Nationality as the main branch, giving birth to a diversity culture with the main Dai nationalities by the way of exchanging and fusing.Meanwhile, Xishuangbanna region is a multi-religious co-existence where have spread the native type of religion, Theravada Buddhism, Taoism, Chinese Buddhism in history.After modern times, Christianity, Islam also have spread to Xishuangbanna region. It have a Multi-religious ecosystems with the main religion of the native type and Theravada Buddhism. National culture and the coexistence of diverse religions are intertwined ecosystem, combined with the Han culture of north and Indian culture of south, including the Southeast Asian culture, they work together to build a colorful culture of National in Xishuangbanna region."Religion ecology" is a way to discipline the study of religion in imitating "ecology",the concept(term) was put forward firstly by the anthropologists of European and American in the mid-nineteenth century,it has been translated and introduced to China scholars In the 1980s and 1990s, and it have raised gradually in the early 21 st century. The dissertation is a research on the religious ecosystem region and the relationship between the formation and development of Dai Society in Xishuangbanna region, the research technical of dissertation is the main approach of religious ecology theory and the location theory, coupling theory supplemented.We rely on filed work to get research ideas on the Dai Society, knowing geographical landscape, history, ethnic relations in Xishuangbanna region,moreover, it will expand cultural environment as the background panoramic description, we will put forward the problems of development on the religious ecological system in Xishuangbanna region.We considered that has a very good typical to discussed the ecological relationships herein religion with Religion Christianity, Islam villages, Theravada Buddhism and the native village in Xishuangbanna. Dai religion knowed as a religion ecosystem,We elaborate the formation of the Dai religion ecosystems according to different historical periods,the development of Dai religion ecology is divided into one unitary,binary unitary and the coexistence of diverse unitary religious.During the formation of the Dai religion ecosystems, the culture has formed a core of the Dai religion ecosystems after Theravada Buddhism and the native type Religious mutual acculturation, it will lead the development of Dai society, Now it still profoundly impact on Dai social. We expound relationship between Dai religion ecosystem and social development though Vertical and horizontal cross-forth, and discuss the relationship among religion ecosystems and the natural environment, politics, economics, cultures, and religions of all religions ecological internal systems, as well as the relationships between the believers with various and non-believers. Further we place the Xishuangbanna religion ecosystems on special geographical location to inspect, and discuss with the Central government (Han culture) and Indian culture, including the relationship between the Southeast Asian culture, the characteristics and laws of religion ecosystem development are summarized. Finally we expound the significance of religious experience and the harmonious development of the ecosystem.The dissertation is divided into six parts as follows:the introduction mainly elaborates the research background and research questions in Xishuangbanna Dai, herein it have retrospective study previously about social history, religious and cultural review at home and abroad. Scope and Methodology used in this thesis defined. The first chapter describes the geographical features, cultural geographical, cultural and ethnic diversity of the basic situation of Fieldwork point in Xishuangbannas. The second chapter, the third chapter describes their present development longitudinally formed the religion ecosystems in Xishuangbanna region, and it have summarizes the three types of religious ecosystem of Xishuangbanna development. The fourth chapter describes the relationship between the lateral religion ecosystems in Xishuangbanna region and the natural environment, politics, economy, culture, ecology within the system between the various religious religion, the relationship between religious believers and non-believers among religious believers, religious and ecological Indian and Chinese cultural exchange system interaction. And summarizes the characteristics and laws of ecosystem development religion. Chapter Five preliminary studies based on elaborate religious ecosystem of harmonious development experience and its significance in Xishuangbanna region. The conclusion once again stressed the mainly significations the the implementation of the strategy of One Belt And One Road(OBAOR) to Dai ethnic culture and main Theravada Buddhism, primitive type of religious-based basic role of religion in the ecosystem.We can clearly summarize the main points of the relationship between religion and social ecosystem after the formation of ecosystem religious in Xishuangbanna and its development, its status and the interaction between inter-religious demonstration ecosystem within and outside the social system and all fully discussed and analyzed. We think:the acculturation each other in Theravada Buddhism and the native type interfaith religious become Dai ecosystem core, leading the religious dynamic equilibrium of ecosystems. South of Buddhism and the native type of religion at the core of the religious ecological system has been integrated into Dai Society "body", and form the core of the Dai society and traditional culture.No matter how to change the social system, how the relationship between church and state, the core content of the dai society and traditional culture are relatively stable, it will dominated the dai national minority social development towards whatever social system change, how the relationship between church and state, the core content of the dai society and traditional culture are relatively stable, it dominated the dai national minority society development trend.Religious ecosystem as a network,it will extend to every corner of the Dai community by the religious elements tentacles,it will adsorbed firmly to the faithful around like a magnet.it has been filtered into the Dai village with every factor of different cultures, created, and inherited Dai society traditional culture. It have created a favorable external conditions for the prosperous and stable social environment in Xishuangbanna, the history of native chieftain system attention and appropriate intervention for the development of religious ecosystem harmonious; it have achieved a religious ecosystem attract foreign cultures, filtered, and inclusive for location factors "led to power", religious ecosystem openness, adaptability. External and internal factors work together to make the religion ecosystems to integrate the Han culture that spread to south and Indian culture spread to north, including Indian culture in Southeast Asia, it promoted the steady and harmony religious ecosystems to development. In the contemporary social context, the harmonious religious ecosystem in Xishuangbanna region has heritage Dai long history and culture, highlighting the unique cultural values, to maintain the prosperity and stability in border areas, it have provided an important platform for foreign exchange to Xishuangbanna region, and has great significance for the development of Xishuangbanna so much as the Frontier region of China.
