Gastric cancer is the leading cause of death of patients with malignancy and the most common malignancy encountered in China. Understanding its biological characterization is important for prevention of the diease by assaying in vitro model systems . Althogh seven gastric cancer cell lines have been established in China, only several lines have been studied widely. The research results may be uncommon to a large country with high incidence of gastric cancer.TILs activated with IL-2 show some specific cytolytic activation against tumors. But its curative effect in clinic is limited. Cytokines have many immune adjustment functions. Some of them can enhance the activation of TILs, and improve the susceptibility of targets to TIL. But little is known about this phenomenon in gastric cancer. TILs have been used successfully in the discovery of tumor specific antigens. Establishment of tumor cell-TIL model system is important for the study of tumor antigens and vaccines.
