Background:It has been almost a century when the first Intrahepatic lithiasis reported since 1906. Intrahepatic lithiasis is widely known as varied, comprehensive high complication and recurrence rate. It has been still a big challenging in abdominal surgery.To treat Intrahepatic lithiasis, Hepatobiliary surgery of Southwest Hospital is one of the top in nation. We have got huge cases of intrahepatic lithiasis. It is very important to study and summarize these cases to benefit the future clinic practice. So, we set up data base of intrahepatic lithiasis management system which makes it possible to analyze those cases.Diagnostic examination of the intrahepatic lithiasis including: Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Magnetic Resonance Cholangiography, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholaniography (PTC) and Cholangioscopy. But it is hardly to say which one or how to combine the examination is more useful. Researches emphasize on sensitivity to stones, not care on incorporated liver and bile duct. It is more important to surgeon to understand the pathological change of liver and bile duct before operation.Intrahepatic lithiasis is most often and effective performed through a laparotomy. To treat Intrahepatic lithiasis at Hepatobiliary Surgery of Southwest Hospital used to approach of surgery. including to get rid of the pathogenesis, remove all stones as clear as possible, rectify stricture, unobstructed drainage and prevent recurrence. There are many different surgical procedures can be done, the idea is diagnose and resection as early as better and less choloenteroanastomosis is a modern viewpoint. In the same subtype of intrahepatic lithiasis, it is unclear what is the best way to treat the disease and perform either single or multiple methods. The reasons which are happened: classifies of clinic pathology was not widely popularized. And on the other hand, it is very few to compare the effects of treatment to same subtype with different methods. This is a restricted factor to advantage treatment Intrahepatic lithiasis. Therefore, it is necessary to put forward classified guide line to all Intrahepatic lithiasis. According to the guide line, we compare the effects of treatment to same subtype and same method.
