Bladder cancer is the most common cancer in the urological tract. About 70 percent of cases are superficial bladder cancer in the newly-found cases every year, the invasive bladder cancer has a high recurrent tendency after TURBT or partial cystectomy. Even with intravesicle instillation of BCG, the recurrent rate remains as high as 57 percent. Radical cystectomy and urinary diversion are performed on patients with invasive bladder cancer or with recurrent bladder cancer. Some urological benign diseases, such as bladder extroply, myelomenigocele and neurogenlc bladder should also be treated by urinary diversion.
