Eucalyptus is the dominant species of plantation growing in Guangxi, China. Exploration of essential oils from the Eucalyptus is an effective means of developing value of the Eucalyptus. Application and use of essential oils of the Eucalyptus has become a developing trend of forest chemical industry in Guangxi. The chemical composition, antimicrobial and antioxidative activities of the volatile components from leaves of the Eucalyptus species {Eucalyptus robusta, Eucalyptus grandis × Eucalyptus urophylla, Eucalyptus dunnii, Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Eucalyptus dives, Eucalyptus pellita, Eucalyptus saligna, Eucalyptus citriodora, Eucalyptus benthami, Eucalyptus exserta, Eucalyptus urophylla, Eucalyptus globulus, Eucalyptus cloeziana, Eucalyptus umbellata) growing in Guangxi had been investigated. The research results will guide the planting and application of Eucalyptus in Guangxi.During experimentation, oil fraction of volatile components was obtained...
