Construction Of Health Event Reporting Domain Information Model Using HL7 Version 3 Methodology

In the process of health informatization in China, lack of uniform standards became one of the main obstacles. In order to solve this problem, standardization actions for health informatics in the national level have been started. The core emphasis of these actions is to establish a set of comprehensive, efficient and non-conflicting health informatics standards for China. These standards can meet requirement of a variety of domains and levels.Development of health informatics standards in national level is a complicated systematic project. Followed along scientific and normative methods is a basic precondition. Standardization for health informatics in China is far behind the international level and lacks corresponding technology and experience.
