| In this study, the poly-D,L-lactic (PDLLA) absorbable rods were comfirmed to have good biocompatibility by embed experiment, and the degradation experiment in vitro and in vivo showed good mechanical features and total in vivo absorption of the rods, indicating that the rods meet the demands to be a biodegradable internal fixation material. The effectiveness and safty of the PDLLA rods were proved by the research of experimental fracture fixed by the rods. Initial clinical application showed good therapeutic effect and further verified the good biocompatibility and effectiveness in treating some fracture. |
