From the acupoint that is visualization of functional brain imaging of acupuncturing effects , fMRI technology is adopted to acupuncture in acupoints ( QUECHI, HEGU and ZUSANLI) that are usually chosen in cerebral stroke, and the differences among different brain cortical activation are compared. So the purpose is to make clear the correlation between acupoints, acupoint groups and cortical excitability.Meanwhile, the result will provide theoretical gist based on fMRI technology for choosing acupoints in clinical practice. And results as follows:1. The experiment based on fMRI technology proves that there are correlativities between acupuncture at acupoints and brain cortical excitement. The acupuncture at acupoint is varied and specialized for the activation of brain functional area. In other word, different acupoints ( or acupoint groups) can activate the same functional area of cerebral cortex.2. Although acupuncture at different acupoints( or acupoint groups) can activate the same functional area of cerebral cortex, the performance varies due to the different sections of BA. This provides the further confirmation about the correlations between acupuncture and the excitement of cerebral cortex.3. Zusanli mainly activates ipsilateral primary somatomotor...
