The biology electric impedance technology, which is a kind of check technique without trauma, is to distill biomedicine information related to physiology or pathology of God's image according to the electricity characteristic or the change of biology tissue and apparatus.Brain infarct and cerebral hemorrhage is one of the most common diseases leading to death in our country in clinic recently. And it is crucial for patient to be saved on time in order to retrieval life or reduce sequelae.Brain oedema belongs to pathology reaction arose by different brain tissues' damage which is made by different pathogeny such as shortness of blood, bleeding, poisoning, inflammation and tumour. It can aggravate the brain state of an illness and is the one of the common deadly diseases. Hematoma and the surrounding tissue oedema coming forth after the bleeding of brain are the two most important causes to lead to the death of patients suffering from brain bleeding. In clinic, the precondition of curing the tissue oedema around haematoma of the patient bleeding brain is to monitor the degree of hydrocephalus correctly. At present, the popular way of examining the hydrocephalus can be divided into two groups: non-invasive one and invasive one, the representative types of the former are CT (Computed Tomography) and MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging), but the high cost and the difficulty of carrying the patient make these the unusual way of examining. In particular, it cannot be used to do the bedside real-time examination, because these methods are limited to judge the evolvement of the state of an illness and to make the trading scheme in time. The representative types of the later are measuring press by pull on waist or determining skull press by putting outside putamen, which are used to reflect the degree of hydrocephalus. They also cannot be used as the conventional method of examining for the risk and invasion, and lose the function of wardship. Thus, It is a challenging task to study a kind of equipment, which is non-invasive, can be used at bedside and can continuously monitor the functional and structural pathological changes of the brain.Firstly, this paper analyzes both the relationships among hydrocephalus, cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral electric impedance and the study of the actualities of the technic of biology electric impedance home and abroad. And it also mentions the majortask of this paper.Secondly, this paper carries out a study of using the one-dimensional electric impedance measuring to measure the degree of current penetrating through skull. Through the experiment on the animal, it is proved that the low frequency (50kHz, 1mA) can permeate the skull with bad conductibility. This provides the foundation to measuring of the non-invasive the cerebral electric impedance and also the reliable experimental data of studying the relationships among hydrocephalus, cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral electric impedance. The one-dimensional electric impedance measuring method has been tested in clinic. This method can judge whether hydrocephalus or cerebral hemorrhage happen in the left part or the right part. But the deficiency of this method is that it can't judge the proper location of hydrocephalus and cerebral hemorrhage, and the shape of the focus. We put forward a kind of new method called Brain Electrical Impedance Mapping; a method based on the analysis on current examining method of hydrocephalus and cerebral hemorrhag and overcome the limitation of one-dimensional brain electric impedance measuring method.
