The Parkinson' s disease (PD) was first reported 200 years ago. Many scholars had researched it in pathology, physiological, biochemical, pharmacology and treatment etc. This disease may be a chronic retrograde affection in center nervous system and it was affected frequently in the middle-aged and the elder population. After long term study, there is a theory that the denaturartion of black substance and striate body is the cause of PD. The PD patients show four clinic characterastics, such as static thrill, motion laxity, muscle stiff, dysequilibration. But the relation between disequilibration of PD patients and vestibular function had nervbe no reportede until now. Our study aim includes : The first one was that we used immunohischemical staining method in the present study to detected glutmate receports expression in vestibular nuclei. The second was to study the changes in vestibular function-10-in PD patients and its significance. Eletronystagmography(ENG) was used to examine 54 patients with PD , and 20 healthy elders who were used as control group. The third study was to used ENG technique to test the vestibular function of PD before and after operation treatment under the use of microelectrode-guided pallidotomy. The results:?The changes of glutamate receptors on vestiblar nuclue of Parkinson' s disease .NMDA receptor expression level was higher in vestibular nuclei, but non-NMDA receptor was lawer in vestiblar nuclue of Parkinson' s disease.?. The changes in vestiblar function in patients with Parkinson' s disease. And its significanceThe results of vestiblar function tests inclding sensory organization test, cold caloric test and positional test of these two groups were recorded for statisticed analysis, . It was found that the rate of vestiblar deyfunction in Parkinson' s disease patients were 81.4% 30% incontrds.?. The clinical observe of vestiblar function of Parkinson' s disease preoperative and after operativeThe vestiblar function was descent in 26 cases (63. 4%) , and was improvement in 11 (26.8%), no change in 4 (9.7%).The conclusion :棔. The research suggests that the caused the non- NMDA receptor might be injure vestibular neurons of Parkinson' s disease by excitotoxicity and induced dyskinetic, dysequilibrium and relatetion the changes of pathologyH. These results suggest that impirment of balance in Parkinson' s disease patiens might be eleted to vestibular dysfunction and ENG test could be used as one of objective examinations in Parkinson' s disease patients.~. The vestiblar function of Parkinson' s disease was descent after treatment in short-term, it may be the reflect of brain tissue edematiztion and thermal energy by microelectrode-guided pullidotomy.
