Objective To study the effect of electroacupuncture against immune brain injury of Intracerebral Hemorrhage and the possible functional pathways. Meth ods Wistar rats were divided into four groups: normal group, physiological saline group, model group, electro-acupuncture group. Collagense VII were used to induce caudal-putamen hemorrhage in rats. "Neiguan", "Shuigou", "Housanli" were electroacupunctured. The nerve missing sign, pathological configuration changes of brain, expression and distribution of CDs , CD4 ,CDs, ICAM-1 and TGF 3i around the hemorrhage area after caudal-putamen hemorrhage and the effects on above items of electroacupuncture were observed. Result (1) Electroacupunctur e could significantly improve the nerve missing sign of rats with caudal-putamen hemorrhage (P< 0.01 ), release the number of CD3 +cells in the area around the hemorrhage histiocyte (P< 0.01) and improve pathological configuration changes of brain. (2) Electroacupuncture could significantly reduce the the number of CD4 ce 11s in the area around the hemorrhage histiocyte (P< 0.05 , or P< 0.01) which in model rats has been significantly higher than nomal level. And the number of CDs cell s in the area around the hemorrhage histiocyte of model rats has been increased effectively by electroacupuncture(P< 0.05 , or P< 0.01) .(3) Electroacupuncture could significantly reduce the number of ICAM-1 tinct blood vessels in the area around the hemorrhage histiocyte (P< 0.05 , or P< 0.01) . which in model rats have been significantly higher than nomal levels.(4)Electroacupuncture could promote the second expression of TGF P i in the model rats (P< 0.01) . Conclusion Cetoimmuni ty participate in the immune brain injury of Intracerebral Hemorrhage. Electroacupuncture has the effect against immune brain injury after Intracerebral Hemorrhage. This effect of electroacupuncture could be carried out by followingways: Prevent the activation signal passing in the phlogistic cells.Hold back the immunity responsion by the CD4+ cells. Reduce the expression of ICAM-1 in the brain after Intracerebral Hemorrhage. Promote the expression of TGF 3 i which has the function could restrain the immunity reactivity in the model rats and accelerate the renovating of nerve in Intracerebral Hemorrhage. By the above ways electroacupuncture could effectivly prevent the immune brain injury after Intracerebral Hemorrhage.
