Study On Updating & Managing Methods Of Basic Spatial Data Of Forest Resource Basing On Temporal GIS

Aiming at the actuality the updating and managing technology for forestry resources data is far behind the practice needs, the paper is to seek after an effective updating and managing technology, wishing to combine with forestry actuality and pioneer a feasible way to solve the problem of updating and managing for forestry resources data.To reach the aim, the paper adopts the technical route that theoretical methods combining with technical practice, researches and realizes key methods and techniques of updating and managing for forest resources data based on Temporal GIS.In theoretical study, the paper emphases on such key methods and techniques as spatio-temporal object's change type, spatio-temporal data model, spatio-temporal database, dynamic operators, spatio-temporal query and trace and build up the basic system of updating and managing methods and techniques for forest resource data. For the detail, it firstly divides forest resource into several variable types based on the change feature and rule and carries out a farther subdivision in the view of technical realization. Then it advances spatio-temporal data model and spatio-temporal database that accord with the requirement for forest resource spatio-temporal data. Lastly based on the following it creates elemental dynamic operators to carry out the updating for sub-compartment data and realizes the basic management for forest resource spatio-temporal database.In technical practice, the paper set up experimental information system for forest resource basic spatial data updating and managing to validate the practicality and rationality of the updating theory, methods and techniques that proposed by it. Firstly, it develops the elemental dynamic operators for Sub-Compartment data updating using AO+VB's GIS component technique. Then it put experimental data(including historical data and latest data) into spatio-temporal database. After the following steps, it realizes the historical query and trace of Sub-compartment Data Which validates the validity, practicality and rationality of the updating theory, methods and techniques that proposed by the paper.
