The paper aims at problems of urban entironment in south China, analyze superority and problem on bamboo as greening plant in urban forest in south China. On the urban greening view, studying 218 bamboo species o f 2 1 g enera, a pplying m ethods o f S et p air a nalysis a nd e xpert e valuation, s tudying one cological adaptability, potential of water and soil conservation, amount of give-out oxygen, ornamention, and applicating theory of dissipative structure to view construction of urban forest, results as follow:It is serious to urban entironment in our country, The superority of bamboo applied to urban greening, it can't be substituted by other plants in south China, including growth, adaptability, species, cultureal connotation and benefit of ecology and society. System of bamboo culture constitute of material and spirit. Characteristic of ancient bamboo culture is long histry, evidence nation feature, rich connotation, elegant style, and that of current bamboo culture succeed and develop ancient bamboo culture, bamboo product industrializely, bamboo forest environment utilize synthetically, bamboo science and technology develop swiftly. Simultaneity, bamboo culture strengthen to inherit and develop by building characteristic park, exhitition centre or popular science hall, and building scenery forest of bamboo.In ecological adaptability, the clump bamboo include Dendrocalamu membranaceusjiambus multiplex cv. Stripestem,Cephalostachyum pergracile, Bambusa albo-lineata B. indigen,B. boniopsis B. tuldoide, Pseudostachyum siamensis, the scatter and mix bamboo include Pleioblastus juxiamensin Phyllostachys hetericlada f. solida,Shibataea lanceifilia var.nanpingtnsis, Indocalamus Pedalis phyllostachys vivax, Phyllostachys heterocycla cv.pubescens, P. prominens P.iridescens, P. aurita Pleioblastus maculatus, Sinobambusa tootsik var.laeta phyllostachys natata.The range of give-out oxygen of clump bamboo is 23.1~9881.5 g per clump,that of scatter and mix bamboo is 1.74~235.11kg hm~-2. The clump bamboo of give-out more oxygen are Dendrocalamus minor ,Dendrocalamopsis daii, D. vario-striat, D. beecheyana var.pubescens,the scatter and mix bamboo of give-out more oxygen are Phyllostachys heterocycla cv.Greacilis P. fimbriligula, P. heterocycla cv.Obliquinoda, P. heterocycla cv.pubescens, P. heterocycla cv.Gracilis, P.heterocycla cv.Tao, Indosasa crassiflora Phyllostachys heterocycla, Phyllostachys nidularia.Based on organic distribution condition underground,the follow clump bamboo have better potential on water and soil of conservation, include Bambusa longispiculata, Dendrocalamopsis vario-striata Biambusa tulda B. muliplex B. chungii, B. textilis var. Maculata Dendrocalamus latiflorus, B. multiplex cv. Alphonse-Karr,the scatter and mix bamboo are Phyllostachys aureosulcata cv. Spectabilis, Phyllostachys aureosulcata. P. bambusoides Pleioblastus chino phyllostachys nigra var. Henonis, P. heterocycla cv.Tao P. iridescent, P. glauca Pleioblastus longifimbriatu, Phyllostachys robustiramea.Adopting set pair analysis to evaluate synthetically bamboo index about ecology adaptability, ornamention, benefit of ecology and society, The good clump bamboo include Bambusa albo-lineata B. multiplex cv. Stripestem Dendrocalamus membranaceus,Cephalostachyum pergracile Bambusa indigen, Thyrsostachys siamensis, Bambusa textilis. the good scatter and mix bamboo are Phyllostachys hetericlada f. solida-, Pleioblastusjuxiamensin, Phyllostachys heterocycla vc.Greacilis, P. heterocycla cv.pubescens, P. vivax, P.prominens, P. iridescens, P. aurita.The ecosystem of urban bamboo forest is dissipative structure.the negative entropy flow of ecosystem can enhance by optimizing bamboo species, optimizing ordonnance.enhancing manage and enhancing biodiversity, in addition, to instruct availability urban bamboo forest construction, It's need to research urban bamboo greening on breeding, ecological mechanism.
