| Researches on city sound environment had been done over forty years. By knowing about our city realities more and more, theoretical developments in this research field had experienced several levels. Nowadays, using multi-discipline theories and methods to solve city sound problem is very popular. That's the main point of view of soundscape research. By the help of knowledge gained from the researches before, now we can find out easily the emerging conditions and internal social dynamic of the sound phenomena that happen in a sound space, but we still know little about the mechanism of the interaction between two neighboring sound spaces.C.h.A.O.S is a software established by laboratory CRESSON and laboratory LISI. By the help of a GIS system, C.h.A.O.S can mark down all kinds of noise sources and social soundscapes in maps following a time sequence. So it can represent city sound environment with high quality. But the weakness of C.h.A.O.S is obvious. Short of intellection limits its function. For most of the normal users, what they really need are some practical references about the sound planning of their project.In order to realize this purpose, in this research, firstly, we expand the knowledge about how neighboring sound spaces can interact on each other. We found that several channels, such as degree of permeation, degree of public, degree of nature, collective memory and degree of insecurity, can realize the interaction between two neighboring sound spaces. Furthermore, two conceptions have been developped in this research to help us evaluating and handling the match of different kinds of sound spaces. They are "sound requirement and sound contribution" conception and "time-gear" conception.Then, these theoretical results have been used to develop a new software to enrich the function of C.h.A.O.S. The logical structure of this new software is formed by "sound requirement and sound contribution" conception and "time-gear" conception. On the other hand, we create "sound case form" and "sound space compare form" to integrate all useful data of each sound space into the database of this new software. Now, this software can diagnose flaws existing in an organization way of sound spaces or issue the most optimal organization way of sound spaces for a real project successfully. |
