Study On Theories And Methods Of Landscape Architecture Planning And Design In Livable City

As the product of some certain stage of human social development, city should be a compound human settlement which also should be convenient, comfortable, livable and satisfying multiple demands of human. Accompanied with our country's urbanization procession, some urban problems appears and people ask for the high quality of environment; which make building the livable city as a new target in the development process of cities in China. However, how to build a livable city is still in some exploring stage in our country at the present time, and the complexity of building a livable city exceeds the category of the traditional theories and methods of urban planning in a certain extent. Based on this situation, first of all, the paper discriminates some related concepts, connotations and characteristics of livable city and summarizes some research theories and practices about how to build livable city from our country and some other countries. Secondly, the paper arranges the elements, the evaluation standards of livable city and the relationship between livable city and landscape architecture. At last, the paper summarizes some theories and methods of landscape architecture, which based on building livable city,in the view of landscape architect. The main research results are as follows:First, based on the experience and lessons from some foreign countries in building livable cities, the paper arranges the 1 of building livable city in our country, and definites the concepts, connotations, characteristics, elements and evaluation standards of livable city.Secondly, based on the relationship between the development of city and landscape architecture, the paper summerizes the theories and practices of some research results about urban planning and livable planning both at home and abroad, and definites the effect of landscape architecture in building livable city.Thirdly, centering on the nature characteristics of city, the paper analyzes the theories of landscape architecture in building livable city. Based on the layers of landscape architecture, the paper analyzes the main contents of landscape architecture unifiedly and tridimensionally from macro layer to micro layer, and proposes the main design principles which is centering on building nature in city and combining with the other elements, such as culture, safety, life, and economy. And according to this design principles, the key of the research is the theories and methods of landscape architecture which takes how to protect, recover and utilize the city's nature characteristics as emphasis in the open space system and its main component, the green space system, in the medium layer.At present, cities in the China are going through a developing period at top speed, and it have to build livable city from now on. As a tie of city and nature, landscape architecture should take its responsibility to make contributions to building livable city and improving human settlements.
