In the background of global integrated manufacturing ,more and more manufacturing enterprises concentrate on the development of their own core competence and core products(or components), and outsource the non-core competence assignments (or components).Highly specialized division and high degree of collaboration will be the characteristic of manufacturing industy in future. Although the performance and structure of products produced by different enterprise are different, there still exist lots of same or similar parts which is general or similar and the amount of these parts is much larger than the standard ones. If the large numbers of the components for general use are brought together and establish a components producing system according to the manufacture process, this will be contributive to improve the development of China's components industry.The development of web technology has provided the external environment for this kind of integeration and collaboration and the idea of application of Group Technology in large scope is emerged as the times required,, The application of Group Technology (GT) in large scope is to implement Group Technology cross-enterprises, named as Large-scale Group Technology for short.This dissertation is supported by the projects " Research on the theory and mothod of Large-scale Group Technology(National Nature Science Foundation of China :No. 70271013)", "Manufacturing Grid and Manufacturing Resource Cooperative Sharing Technologies (the National High-Tech. R &D Program for CIMS, China:No. 2004AA414310)", "Manufacturing Resource Management System based on E-hub mode(the National High-Tech. R &D Program for CIMS, China :No. 2006AA04Z130))", and "The Instrument, device and expensive resource sharing and its application engineering in china colleges (the key item of Ministry of Education of China:No.211CERS-12)".Based on the classical Group Technology and related theory,this dissertation concentrates on the principles,methods, techniques and system of Large-scale Group Technology combined with web2.0 technology, which benefit combining components resource and improving the competitiveness of our country.The main works of this dissertation is dissertated as follows:In the 1st chapter, the research background is introduced briefly. And the related research area: networked manufacturing, manufacturing resource-sharing and integrating technology, Group Technology, parts library technology, etc., are reviewed. And then the research content and the general structure of this dissertation are presentd.In the 2nd charpter, the systematic framework of Large-scale Group Technology is researched. At first, the requirement model of Large-scale Group Technology is built. And the difference between Large-scale Group Technology and Group Technology, the relationship between Large-scale Group Technology and Mass Customization are analyzed, and then the systematic framework of Large-scale Group Technology is proposed based on these analyses. Based on the theory of self-organization and the implementation technology of Large-scale Group Technology, the self-organizatin evolution condition, kinetics, means in Large-scale Group Technology system are discussed. Finally, the technology requirement of Large-scale Group Technology for long tail market is analyzed, and the long-tailed characteristics exited in Large-scale Group Technology is pointed out based on the theory of long tail.In the 3rd charpter, the classification and coding technology of Large-scale Group Technology is discussed. The demand of the description framework for component in Large-scale Group Technology is addressed. A new method of classification and coding is proposed. The method is to combine the part ontology with floksonomy, which is advantage to realize the effective coding for the fast-growing of component resources. Reference to the classification and coding system—JLBM-1, a classification and coding model of machining for Large-scale Group Technology is built.In the 4th charpter, the construction method and technology of parts ontology which is the key technology for component resources in Large-scale Group Technology are discussed. A method to realize the conceptualization of parts ontology is proposed. This method is to realize the parts ontology concept from web tables based on the principle of reverse; and the web 2.0 technologies is used to realize the popularity and self-organized optimization of ontology construction; The formal concept analysis method is used to construct the hierarchies of parts ontology and realized the structural construction of parts ontology.In the 5th charpter, the component standardization and the product modularization methods are studied. A new method—building a name dictionary of component based on wiki mechanism to standardization of component's name is proposed. A folk-evaluation method is proposed to achieve the standariztion of parts structure. According to the difference of data sources, the folk-evaluation includes three methods: the evaluation based on the feedback of parts's usage status, the evaluation based on digg and the evaluation based on user group's requirements.In the 6th charpter, the construction method and technology of supplier's parts library which is the core resources in Large-scale Group Technology are researched. The steps of construction of supplier's parts library are discussed firstly. An information model of supplier's parts library based on parts ontology is built. A feature dependency semantic graph is proposed to represent the topological relations between features of the part, an then the similarity between simple family of parts is compared based on the feature dependency semantic graph. A classification-based conceptual model of parts is built based on semantic tag, and a weighted Binary-Positive clustering algorithm is used to part clustering for forming the supplier's simple family of parts.In the 7th charpter, the development and realization of the application service platform for Large-scale Group Technology is discussed. The requirement of the the application service platform for Large-scale Group Technology is analyzed. The architecture of this platform is built; Finally, the development and realization of this platform is introduced.The last chapter summarizes the achievements and innovations of this dissertation, while prospecting the future work.
