Conceptual design is the key phase which confirms the innovative idea and principle solution. In order to continually discover new problems and fulfill new requirements, several key technologies for product innovation are proposed by constructing conceptual process model, which will increase the efficiency of innovative design and advance the innovation of competitive product.(1) A kind of situated analogy design is proposed, which mainly obtains innovative idea of new target design by matching with instance source in conceptual design phase.solving. Situated knowledge expression, the analogical reasoning design model and situated analogy innovation design process model are constructed to solve difficult problems in conceptual design phase. The component system of analogical design, situated knowledge denotation and situated memory process are described. The process model of analogical design can help to the solution of design problem and approach of innovative design.(2) A kind of situated TRIZ design process and method is developed, which is mainly used for solving the contradiction in conceptual design phase, and which is used for how to do. The thought, content and meaning of TRIZ are introduced, the contradiction classification, inventive principles and contradiction matrix are described, the lines and patterns of technology evolution, technology maturity mapping and its realization are discussed. The design platform of product innovation based on TRIZ is founded to solve the contradiction problem.(3) A kind of situated TOC(Theory of constraints)method is studied, which is mainly used in finding contradiction of system and confirming root cause of contradiction, and which is used for what to do.Situated knowledge, TOC and TRIZ are combined to form an integrated design process model for determining and solving contradiction problem in conceptual design.(4) A kind of situated UXD(Unexpected discovery)method is put forward, which is mainly used for obtaining innovative visualization in conceptual design. UXD concepts and classification rules are defined, the design targets are selected, the data models are corrected, and the modules of UXD analysis, resource callback, representation, etc., are constructed, finally the result of UXD are feed back to innovative design. It is testified the situated analogy case of innovative design is feasible between a tap and a door.(5) The TRIZ solutions and cases were used as source designs and the standard process was modified to an analogical process which was named the first analogy process. The second analogy process was formed in which the specific TRIZ solutions for domain problems from the first analogy process were used as an input situation. By means of integrating the first and the second process, a new process model for analogy-based design process was formed, which was a process model for two stages of analogy-based concept design, with the new conceptual solution obtained.The case of new problem is selected by accomplishing the solving process of abstraction, search, selection, match, adjustment and correction. The process model of case and system flow model driven by case-based reasoning are constructed. The design model of product innovative concept driven by TRIZ is proposed to solve engineering problem, in which the method and process for obtaining innovative solution are calculated.(6) The new domain solutions can be confirmed by design experience, knowledge accumulation and analysis of special product, namely, the integrative product design process model driven by situated analogy can be formed by TRIZ instruments, SAD (Situation analogy design) knowledge, UXD methods, ABD (Analogy-based design), CBR (Case-based reasoning), FBS model, etc.The design flow model of conceptual structure is put forward on hydrocyclones, a better principle and shceme of which is achieved for parts of inlet, cavity, big and small cone, trail tube, oil vent, etc. It is testified numerical simulation of flow field is feasible for the result of hydrocyclones.The foundation of conceptual design process model driven by situated analogy provides important technology guidance for innovative design, and remarkably increases the ratio of success of product innovation design. |
