With the rapid development of container transportation in recent years, thecontainer throughput keeps a high-speed increase in our country. It brings not onlyhuge economical profit, but also pressure on transmutability of container ports. Inorder to improving operation efficiency and keeping equipment works with reliability,it is indispensable for container ports employ new technology and equipment.Combined with correlative project, simulation and optimization of the machinedispatch system and monitoring of equipments in container terminals were researchedin this dissertation.According to the features of container port work, the modeling, simulation andsystem design were introduced in this dissertation as follows:In the first chapter, research situation about wireless network, simulation,optimization, equipment dispatch and mechanical equipment monitoring system weresummarized. Central contents of this dissertation were introduced.With the development of port modernization, digital port will become majordirection in which WLAN will be used more and more widely. In the second chapter,network communication, channel coding, error control, topology of port WLAN andbandwidth allocation strategy were researched and base on which a model of portWLAN communication system were designed.Container truck is the most complex device in container terminal. Yetconventional dispatch rule reduces its using rate. New container truck dispatch rulebases on dynamic optimizing combination were given in the third chapter. It makes alltrucks up to all work demands in order to increase using rate. At the end of this chapter,solution of container truck optimization task route using multi-objective fuzzydecision-making method was given.In chapter four, modeling of contain terminal load and unload system wereintroduced. Using Petri net theory, hierarchy model and dynamic model of the system were built, which were used to simulate a real container terminal in later chapter. Themodels are basic of system performance analysis in later dissertation.In virtue of WITNESS, professional simulation software about DEDS, thesimulation analysis about model of container terminal dispatch system was made inchapter five. Model of conventional dispatch rule and model of dynamic optimizingcombination dispatch rule were compared. The result was analyzed in the end.With the help of work of chapter three, container truck dynamic optimizingcombination dispatch system base on WLAN was designed in chapter six. Using anexample, the operation and performance of the system were introduced.Chapter seven studied the long-range monitor system of container handlingequipment base on WLAN. Container handling equipment wireless monitoring andfailure diagnose system was designed. It achieves long-range control. The systemexperiment was made on port handling equipment. The result proved practicabilityand reliability of the system.Chapter eight concluded the dissertation and expected future research.
