With the acceleration of the process of regional economic integration and the trend of economic globalization,container ships are developing in the direction of large-scale.Traditional container terminals are affected by human resources,weather,safety and costs,which make it more and more difficult to adapt to the requirements of large-scale development of container ships.Automated container terminal has the advantages of high efficiency,low cost,high reliability,energy saving and environmental protection,which is the future direction of port development.The construction of automated container terminal has huge investment.The layout of automated container terminal,operation parameters of main equipment and process flow directly affect the operation efficiency of the terminal.It is the concern of every manager to choose what kind of port resource allocation scheme can ensure the operation efficiency of the terminal and achieve the goal of terminal design.This paper takes port A automation container terminal as the research object,and studies the domestic and foreign research status of port berth configuration and loading and unloading machinery configuration through literature,summarizes the research methods and characteristics in the existing research,and points out the shortcomings.Combined with the characteristics of the automated container terminal and simulation software,the steps of the Flex Sim simulation software to establish the simulation model are described.Through several field investigations of the A-port automated container terminal,exchanges with the terminal staff,collected relevant data,and in-depth understanding of its development status and berth,operation of loading and unloading equipment,as well as terminal layout,loading and unloading technology,machinery and equipment and operation procedures.The berth and loading and unloading equipment configuration problems are summarized,the assumptions of the simulation target and the simulation model are determined,and then the business flow chart is established.Finally,the relevant parameter settings and performance indicators are selected.After the data is analyzed and analyzed,it is taken as a parameter.The model is run in simulation.The results after the operation are analyzed according to the relevant evaluation indicators.The analysis shows that there is a problem of low throughput and low utilization rate of mechanical equipment in the terminal operation at the present stage.Finally,when the existing berths and the number of loading and unloading machines are unchanged,According to the actual situation of the dock,the variables are set,and the optimal optimization scheme is obtained by screening the operation scheme of the optimization scheme.Comparing the optimization scheme with the original results shows that the optimization scheme can improve the throughput and equipment utilization of the terminal without reducing the mechanical equipment of the terminal,reduce the idle rate of the equipment,and improve the efficiency of the terminal as a whole.
