Key Issues On Transfer Organization Of City Passenger Traffic Hubs

Passenger transport terminals (PTT) is the cross point of the various transport modes, and the place for the travellers to gather, disperse and transfer, so it is the key part of the city's passenger transport system. The PTT has very important functions of connecting the various transport modes and guaranteeing the smooth transfer of the travellers. If Its planning, design, and construction are reasonable directly impact of the cooperation between and performance of the modes, of the passenger transport integration with the public transit being developed first as its main parts, of the convenience of travellers and the level of people-oriented service. Reasonable and effective planning and design of PTT are the main factors to improve and enhance the efficiency of the city's passenger transport system. According to the above analysis, the 4 parts of content are presented as follow.(1)Studied on the optimization of transfer organization in PTT. The thesis analyzed the integrated connotation of the transfer organization, discussed on its principles and measures, proposed the models of transfer organization integration and capacity match of various transport modes in the PTT. The former model takes the transfer distance and the space of various transport modes, and the latter model considers the factors of time reliability, capacity, operation cost and exterior cost of the transport mode and the income level of the traveller.(2)Studied on the transfer efficiency (TE) and level of service (LOS). The thesis set up an evaluation indexes system on the TE, proposed a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the TE of a PTT. And then it analyzed the relationship between TE and the LOS, discussed the factors of LOS, and set up its assessment system. Finally, the thesis gave a case study with the Xizhimen transfer hub of Beijing.(3)Studied on the impact of the transfer organization to the traffic distribution and mode-split. The thesis discussed on the pattern of the transfer network and the parameter of the transfer organization efficiency, set up the traffic distribution model on the transfer network and the transport modes spilt model of network. Though these tow models, the thesis studied the impact on the traffic distribution and travellers choice on the transport modes from the transfer organization. The traffic distribution model mainly considers the minimum of the operation cost of the PTT and the road cost, while the network transport modal-spilt model is set up based on the Logit model.
