Research And Application Of Key Rapid Respone Technologies For Enterprises In Mass Customization

The successful implementation of mass customization (MC) needs the support of the technologies, management and the marketing for MC. Enterprise rapid response ability is one of the most important factors among them, which can help MC companies work effectively to meet the customers demand. To help the MC companies get the ability, the dissertation studies some aspects of enterprise rapid response technologies such as rapid product configuration, cost estimation, MC supply chain collaboration and so on. The main research contents and achievements of the dissertation are as follows:1. The rapid product configuration and cost estimation technologies are studied. A GBOM-Based product configuration model GBPCM is given, which is composed of three parts: GBOM product structure relationships, product configuration cell classes and configuration rules. The product configuration method based on the model is brought forward, which combines the case based reasoning and rule based reasoning, and the process and key technologies of the method are introduced. The cost estimation based on product configuration is studied, too. The composition of MC products cost is analyzed and the cost estimation method is given.2. The supply chain collaboration technology for mass customization is studied. The traditional CPFR supply chain collaboration method is expanded and a new collaboration process model for MC is introduced. The inventory replenishment problem under this kind of collaboration model is researched and the solution method is given.3. The knowledge sharing technology for mass customization is studied. The knowledge that should be shared in a MC enterprise is discussed and a knowledge-sharing framework for mass customization is constructed. The key technologies to realize the framework, including the knowledge sharing modeling technology and the knowledge retrieval technology, are given.4. The information management technology for mass customization is studied. An integrated information management system framework is proposed. The framework is composed of two parts: Information Hub based MC supply chain information collaboration and sharing system and MC company inner information management system. They can manage the information in a MC company and among its supply chain partners and give decision support. According to the framework and the requirements of the management of container manufacturers, an integrated information system for container mass customization (CMCIIS) is constructed with the technologies discussed before. Now the system has been applied in CXIC Group and proved to be successful.
