The Distributed Virtual Manufacturing Cell (DVMC) is a kind of technique method to realize the Virtual Enterprise. As the basic manufacturing unit, the DVMC is regarded as the execution layer of the enterprise, as well as the key point of the daily manufacturing function of the enterprise. In order to ensure the enterprise's quick reflection to the production task and the new market requirement, as well as the agility of the production ability, it is important to reconfigure the manufacturing cell based on the flexible resources.According to the DVMC reconfiguration and the scheduling problem, the main contents and the achievements of the dissertation are as follows:With the research on the characters of the DVMC and the analysis of the work process, the Multi-Agents architecture based on the Web Services is proposed according to the function models of the DVMC.It is analyzed that the positive feedback, multi-goal optimization process is the essential of the cell reconfiguration. After studying the dynamic reconfiguration process of the DVMC, the key steps of the process including the ability requirement analyse, requirement issuance, interactive information management, resource selection, resource clustering and reconfigure evaluation. The synthetic fuzzy evaluations models are constructed. Guaranteed by all jobs completed on schedule, with the target to reduce the manufacturing and transportation cost, it is important to utilize the manufacturing resources efficiently with optimizing the combinatorial of the resources and reconfiguring the manufacture cell within the flexible manufacturing process. A model for the resource selection at the least production cost has been built, and the ant colony genetic algorithm (ACGA) is proposed in this dissertation. Under the suitable task assigned, the layered cluster algorithm is adopted to carry out the DVMC.Due to the flexible process inside the manufacturing cell, first of all, production cost model is set up, secondly, based on the dynamic pheromone updating, a developed Ant Colony Optimization algorithm is described in detail.
