| Evaluation of urban engineering geological environment and construction of urban layoutcompose a multi-factors and multi-levels process. How to choose and use condition ofengineering geological environment, protect and control the possible engineering geologicalproblem, reduce the occurrence of geological hazard is very important in urban layout.This paper analyzed the main problems of urban engineering geological environment andevaluated the engineering geological environmental quality in development of central area ofnew city of Nanxu in Jiangsu province based on research of engineering geologicalenvironment in edition of detail layout. Firstly, the three-dimension model of geologicalstructure of study area is formed and the geological digital character of the engineeringgeological environment was acquired based on analysis of exploration data. Secondly, thedatabase of engineering geological environment was established and the engineering geologicalenvironmental quantity was analyzed on the basis of the software of ArcView GIS. Thirdly, theevaluating standard of every influence factors for engineering geological environment wasfounded according to the characteristics of engineering geological environmental quality ofstudy area. At last, the series maps was formed for planning department after overall andsystematic research and made the result can be used into practice.Based on above research, the conclusion could be gained:1. The regional stability and the engineering condition are good in central area of new city ofNanXu. There is no erosion of groundwater for the concrete. The thick and highercompression soil and unhealthy engineering effect was only occurred in part of areas.Therefore, the condition of engineering geological environmental quality is better and it'sgood for social and economic development.2. The ability of geo-technical engineering was studied and the boundary of different types ofbuildings in different areas was separated by the three-dimension geological structure in thestudy area.3. The possibility of low strength for soft soil and geological hazard of rock area for the studyarea were predicted in this paper according to the engineering ability of the soil and planningscheme.4. The engineering geological environmental quality of the study area was evaluated andpredicted and the possible geological problem was determined. It could supervise the editionof the detail plan of central area of new city of Nanxu and avoid the engineeringenvironmental problem and hazard which caused by human activity, and could reach theharmonic development between economy and environmental protection.5. The result of the environmental engineering geology was firstly served into urban planningmanagement and design by the format of series maps, pictures, images and tables. It madethe inter-major result could be used practically into urban planning. |
