Emerging in recent years, Concurrent Engineering and Product Wide Area Collaborative Development becomes a kind of schema for product development. Its emergence brings high recognition of industry, academe and government. Generally speaking, the implementation of Concurrent Engineering and Product Wide Area Collaborative Development can improve developing ability of new products effectively, keep national enterprise ahead in world advanced manufacturing domain. Therefore, the significance for research and implementation on Concurrent Engineering and Product Wide Area Collaboratvie Development in enterprise is very important. And it's the main purpose of this dissertation.This dissertation is divided into five main parts: Collaborative Product Commerce oriented Concurrent Engineering theory, researching on Concurrent Engineering enabler, the process of product concurrent development and its management, the implementation of Concurrent Engineering and Product Wide Area Collaborative Development in enterprises. During the implementation and practice, the dissertation further extends the research scopes of Concurrent Engineering and Product Wide Area Collaborative Development methods and points.First, aiming at the change of Concurrent Engineering's territory from global competing, this dissertation puts forwards the Collaborative Product Commerce oriented Concurrent Engineering theory. The Product Wide Area Collaborative and Concurrent Development are fulfilled through building a platform (X2D) based VPN and fusing all resources related to product development.During the analysis of Concurrent Engineering enablers, the dissertation proposes a theory named DFRP (Design for Manufacturing Resource Planning) with demonstrated feasibility of resource planning within product designing process. Thus the scope of Concurring Engineering enablers is extended. The DFRP theory is now registered in Engineering Index (El) and generally accepted.Furthermore, with researches on the deficiency of theory and analysis means onIVDFA, visual DFA based on X2D theory is proposed. During the research on evaluation methods, a multi-level fussy evaluation framework based on constraints is established for DFA and DFRP.Whereas the importance of product concurrent development process modeling, after detailed analysis of generally used process modeling technique and methods of object oriented, the dissertation puts forth an object oriented modeling technique based on process executing rules by adoption of object task view theory. With the adoption of view status and use of design structure matrix, the task planning is optimized to enable supporting of overlapping and dynamic process.The dissertation finally accesses from the enterprise application of Concurrent Engineering and Product Wide Area Collaborative Development platform. At first, with the restriction of implemental aim of Concurrent Engineering in the Shanghai Blow Works Co. Ltd., it analyzes the essential technology from three aspects during the course of the enterprise implement of Concurrent Engineering. They are the implementation of Concurrent integrated frame system based on PDM, the management mechanism of the product development process of Concurrent Engineering and the implemental principle of Concurrent Engineering Enabler. Furthermore, the dissertation analyzes the technical solutions of Product Wide Area Collaborative Development implementation in certain Group Company.The completion of this dissertation benefits from the following two projects: (1) the key technique project of national high-tech research and development program 863/CIMS (SBW-CE), and (2) certain Group Company Wide Area Collaborative Platform. These projects provide the application environment of academic research for the dissertation. The practical application of Concurrent Engineering and Product Wide Area Collaborative Development prove that the theories mentioned above and the solutions are successful and effective.At present, the topics mentioned above have become emphasises and hotspots...
