The processing and utilization of brown coal are the important development fields for exploitation and utilization of coal resources in our country. Slurryability of brown coals, upgrading brown coals and blended-coals with high rank coal were studied in this thesis. Neimonggu brown coals, upgraded brown coal and LuAn coals were selected in the experiments to prepare CWS and blended-coal CWS. The effect of polyacrylic series dispersants on CWS was studied. The experimental results shown that the brown-CWS concentration under fixed viscosity (1200mPa.S) increased by 9.27% after being upgraded. The CWS concentration under fixed viscosity (1200mPa.S) of brown coal and upgraded brown coal blending with Changcun coal respectively increased by 10.18% and 14.28%. The slurry ability of upgraded coal, blended-coal CWS and characteristics of CWS aging were researched by FTIR, SEM analysis, and other measurements of the physicochemical properties, such as wetting heat. The study indicated blended-coals realized the complement of coal property with each other, decreased energy consumption and made full use of brown coal. In addition, the effects of slurryability of blended-coal were studied. The estimate mode of blended-coal CWS concentration according to mathematical statistics method was developed in the paper 'combined with computer programming.
